It was my first time here. There is no menu, except one posted on the wall and it has no prices. It is set up like a buffet, but there was no info on food, hours of buffet, prices, etc. There were hardly any customers when I arrived. I had to ask a few times how to order. They just asked what I wanted. I ordered a sandwich. They didn’t ask if I wanted sides or a drink, they just walked away to start making it. I used the restroom and I was absolutely shocked about how dirty and rundown it was. I decided that if they hadn’t started making the food, I was going to cancel my order. It was almost done when I got out of restroom. I looked over the food prep area and the cooks to make sure that it wasn’t as filthy as the restroom and it looked clean. I tried sandwich and it tasted good but I couldn’t finish it because I was so upset over the restroom I had lost my appetite. The containers on table were dirty as were the walls in dining room. I won’t go back.

The food was delicious and it was truly authentic with the owners who were from Cuba. The staff were very friendly and helpful as this was our first time in the restaurant. My husband and I shared the Cuban, beef empanada, and the rice and black beans plate. I could not say a bad thing about this place. The bathrooms were very clean and there was lots of seating inside.

It was my first time at Leah’s Cafe. The staff was warm and welcoming. I ordered a steak, egg, and cheese Cuban breakfast sandwich with cafe con leche and it was excellent! The steak was deliciously flavorful and the café, coffee, was sweetened to perfection! As a Chicago native who recently moved to Florida, I highly recommend you stop by Leah’s Cafe for a visit.

We were looking for a quick cuban bite, and Leah’s Cafe showed up in our search. My only recommendation is that they should put a little bit more of mayo and mustard or something in the cuban sandwich. I think that it was a little bit dry for me. The ham and cheese sandwich was good, too. We also got chinese rice with pork. We got yellow rice, pork, sweet plantains, and beans! Our cuban coffee was perfect! Also, the cafe con leche. We ordered some dessert as well. We got there right on time because it was starting to get busy during lunchtime. Everything was really good.

Best coffee in Tampa. Authentic Cuban Espresso. Owners are incredibly kind and passionate about their business. They always go out of their way to help their customers. That’s not even to mention their food – ALSO THE BEST CUBAN I’ve had so far in my 5 years of living in Tampa. Affordable, authentic, delicious Cuban Cuisine. With owners who truly care. Thank you for always taking care of me!

I’ve ordered lunch from Leah’s Café twice. The first time, I got the Cuban sandwich, and it was excellent—great flavor and exactly what I expected. The second time, I ordered the same Cuban, but they left off the mustard, which is clearly listed in the description. It really threw off the flavor and unfortunately ruined my lunch. Consistency matters, especially when you’re looking forward to a favorite meal.

Tried Leah’s for the first time yesterday. It was very tasty and I will definitely be back! There aren’t many options around that aren’t fast food so I was thrilled to find this place.

Egg and cheese Cuban was delicious. It had the crustiness that made it melt in your mouth. The beef and chicken empanadas were pretty good as well just not enough filling inside.
