Im a local here in Lancaster. Between life, losses etc. Valentines day was my first visit ive pretty much stayed local around me, that changed and im glad I ventured out! Beautiful sunny day, we were greeted with a smile our waitress was fantastic! We never went without anything! She made this local become a true fan of customer service again ALL SMILES made you feel so welcome everyone did even leaving, food was fantastic also, we will definitely be regulars!! Highly recommend the big butt bun

The atmosphere is basic. The food is god awful. Got a pulled pork sandwich and the crabcake platter. The pulled pork was heavily oversalted. The crab cakes were deep fried crab mush… No lump meat at all. For a place that’s right on the water in a crabbing and fishing community, these crab cakes are just shameful.

Took my mom for her birthday, we really enjoyed ourselves talking to Linda! Got the shrimp baskets and fried mozzarella sticks. Had enough left over for our dinner! We will definitely be back

Leadbelly’s is a family owned restaurant sitting on the Fairport Marina, one of our favorite places here on the Northern Neck. Sometimes service is a tad slow if you get there past 630 on a Friday or Saturday, but the prices and the dishes are usually worth the wait. Fresh fried oysters, alligator bites, crab cakes with hardly any filler, various sandwiches and BIG BUTT BREAD….Oh, the big butt bread…all homemade good stuff.
It can get a little loud inside. Outside on the porch is nice unless there’s smokers out there…it’s closed in just enough that the smoke lingers. Sometimes it’s worse than others.
Definitely check it out, worth the trip to Fairport!

My boyfriend and I stopped in Leadbelly’s Restaurant for lunch. The restaurant has amazing views! We enjoyed the crabcake sandwich and softshell crab sandwich and onion rings. The service was very friendly.

Docked here for the night and ate dinner at Leadbelly. It was a great experience. The dock and restaurant crew were helpful and friendly and the food was good. Five stars!

Stopped here as we made our way up the bay for a meal and overnight. Tracy took our call and welcomed us when we arrived. Nice dockside place and glad the fish factory wasn’t operating. Sitting at the bar, we saw Tracy handle every bit the cooking. She probably would have helped us dock . We’ll certainly return
