The food was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend any of the dishes. The goat shoulder in particular was buttery smooth and melted apart and the rice underneath it was exquisite. to start. We had the baked camembert. This was gooey and cheesy and it was served a bit almost too well baked so then by the time we actually were eating it it was the perfect temperature that it was gooey and melted without being congealed. The baguette served with this too was a bit thicker and fluffy so it worked really well for the cheese. Because we also had the chicken liver pate Which was also served with a baguette but this one was thinner and crusty which paired so much better with the pate. Upstairs they have two room rooms that you can hire out very small very cute downstairs. They have a courtyard area for large groups. Overall very homestyle restaurant very cozy feeling very well thought of

The perfect example of a restaurant which has a small menu, but does everything superbly – OMG
Standout dishes were the house marinated octopus, the chicken liver paté, and the absolutely outstanding carpaccio.
Our main dishes were hearty and full of fresh flavoursome herbs and vege.
Andl elegant wine list, and expertly made cocktails (all the classics, and the twists).
I can’t wait to go back and try the other dishes.
Perfect for a romantic date night, or a catch up with your besties.

You know when you hear all these great things about a place and you want to go and have something to have a whinge about. That’s what this place felt like to us.
So glad we were wrong and we got invited to go there for dinner in the first place.
It’s a European style menu with dishes from various countries and not just France. The pate’ was amazing, the hot honeyed brie was divine and the house made baguettes that went with them were superb.
The beef bourguignon was robust, soft and decadent with its silky mash just making the perfect accompaniment.
The baby goat shoulder pulled apart and melted in your mouth, along side the pilaf rice and gravy + mint yoghurt and it sever 4 people for $110.
The sides of broccoli, potato and sardines were all delicious and perfect accompaniments for our mains.
The DJ rocking the vinyl LP’s in his corner just topped it off for a fabulous evening. $500 for 5 adults and 3 kids with 2 bottles of wine and 2 beers is great value too
We will definitely be back

Visited Valentines day for dinner. Very relaxed, charming and quirky resturant. Owner explained the menu in passionate detail.
Food was to die for
Service was very euro chic, which is slightly detached but very cool. Don’t stress they’ll bring you your wine. I loved the eclectic nationalities of service staff. Very affordable
Im summary, one of those very cool joints that you rarely find

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Food was great but lacked a real wow factor. A little cramped inside but the decor is rustic yet eclectic. Service was great and we were recommended a lovely white wine. Would definitely come back!

Had a great night here. We ordered the beef carpaccio, tomato medley with fresh mozzarella, chicken liver pâté, and finished with the baked ricotta cake — every dish was spot on. Flavourful, simple, and beautifully done. The Pinot we had paired perfectly. Warm, relaxed vibe and staff who genuinely care. Will definitely be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here.
The staff were exceptionally friendly.
My personal favourite was the Camebert honey, which was exceptionally delicious and suitable for any meal.
I would definitely return to visit again.

I recently had dinner with my two sisters and even though it was our first time eating here, it felt like we were welcomed into the dining room of a friend. The ambience and decor were cosy and warm, the food was incredible (especially the goat shoulder!) and the staff were genuinely kind and cheerful. My new favourite place to eat in Perth :). We loved our experience and will definitely be back.

I’ve been searching for a place like this for a while now. As many have said, the owner is fantastic and the service from the staff is equally excellent. But my favourite part is the calm and euro-country vibe, yet the food and wine selection is of a very high standard. The food is about great cooking with influences from across Europe. The wine selection, even by the glass, is extensive and rich. It is indeed a hidden gem for foodies with a touch of refined elegance. Went for the 8pm sitting on a Thursday night.

The atmosphere in here is very nice. However, for the price, the food was not as expected. We could not even finish the roast potatoes. The chicken was ok but dry and similar for the ratatouille. They seemed to be understaffed, and the service was slow. Wishing the best for a local restaurant like this.
