I decided to go with the daily special – Coq au Vin – and I’m so glad I did. Excellent flavor, with the chicken moist, tender, and nearly falling off the bone. The vegetables were just as good, and the potatoes au gratin were very tasty.

an exceptional place in stuttgart for a family with children or a romantic getaway with your partner. feel the atmosphere of France and enjoy french food. don’t expect haute cuisine, this is mainly a Restaurant à volonté, that’s what people come here for ✨ also incredibly good brunch on Sundays. reservations are a must, as there could be a full seating regardless of the day of the week. retro interior and french music. hospitable and open to communication owner Dominique is the heart of this place.

Such a nice place to visit. The space is not the big but have a table for 6people too. Baguette taste super good, that is hard to find in germany.

Why did I wait so long?? Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I went for lunch and was so pleasantly surprised by my salad – so fresh and delicious. Great service and very reasonable prices. I learned about the monthly wine probieren and cannot wait to try one. What a great, cozy neighborhood spot!!!

A gang of friends and I had a wine tasting and meal here this week and it was so wonderful. Dominique the owner and his staff were so nice and made the evening so enjoyable with their fantastic foods and great wine selection. The restaurant also has a small deli with all fresh French cheeses, meats, and take away treats! I highly recommend it if you are craving French! Enjoy

Very authentic French place, with very kind people and a nice atmosphere. You can speak German, French or English there. We had the pleasure to try the buffet “all you can eat”, made of only typical and authentic French food (charcuterie, cheeses, quiches, flammenkueche, île flottante, crème brûlée) AND all you can drink wine.
It’s not the cheapest buffet, but it’s the only place you’ll have actual French food in quantity. Definitely worth it!
Suggestion: it’s summer, and the wine was way too warm unfortunately. It’s sad to have a warm Bordeaux or cote du Rhône.
Also, the flammenkueche had a too thick dough. It’s almost like a pizza. It tastes good! But not the texture we expected.
Lastly: more veggie options, especially for the quiche, would be nice!
Either way, I’ll definitely come back! I was sad to see the place close, and I’m happy to see it back with that option!!

Great atmosphere if you want to have an evening with friends. I recommend the formula wine tasting where you just pay a lump sum and you get food and wine that you can share together. The staff is friendly and makes you feel home. In November try the Beaujolais nouveau!!!
