Que ce soit en cuisine ou en salle, le Stras’ aime jouer avec les styles et le fait plutôt bien. La salle du restaurant rend hommage aux traditions locales avec ses poutres apparentes tandis que la décoration, plutôt sobre et élégante, apporte une touche de modernité. Côté cuisine, le constat est le même : le chef Steve modernise une cuisine française traditionnelle. Les assiettes sont créatives et mettent souvent à l’honneur les récoltes de maraichers locaux. Ce jour-là le chef proposait un filet de canette rôti accompagné de barigoule d’artichauts et de champignons ou encore des noix de Saint Jacques et gambas poêlées servies avec un fenouil braisé à l’anis.

We decided to visit the city and we booked this place for dinner. It was a great surprise. Not only the restaurant feels cozy and warm, but the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food it’s just gorgeous. We had a great time, and we will definitely come back if we visit Strasbourg again.

The food was excellent, beautifully prepared and thoughtfully presented. The flavor combinations were unique and truly a delight. While the wine and water were a bit on the pricey side, the overall experience was very enjoyable.

We had an amazing experience at Le Stras’. The location and ambiance of the small French Quarter were thoroughly romantic, and we couldn’t keep a smile off our faces. The food matched the ambiance—sublime. We were extremely satisfied with every dish; perhaps only the dessert wasn’t to my liking, but it didn’t affect the overall experience. Our waitress, though not fluent in English, was attentive and did her best to offer suggestions and ensure we were happy.

Great lunch on the 18th November in Le Stra’s. This is a great cosy restaurant in the very interesting, historical city center in Strasbourg. I took a three piece meal by selecting items from the Carte, while my partner took the pre-defined set menu – also with three pieces – for just 20 €.
In both cases we were not disappointed. The pre-defined set menu is perhaps a little bit simpler than when you choose items on the Carte, but not by far at all. In any case you are getting very well prepared and special dishes. This 20€ menu is a tremendous value !
The items I chose on the Carte were also really nice and good. I did not regret paying more for it. I especially loved the first dish with snails, which was totally incredible. The “Tarte Pralin” dessert was also a master-class. The main dish as also very good and subtle.
Nice cosy atmosphere inside, somewhat quirky in a positive way.
The service was lovely, friendly and smily.
We should come back !
