We had a fabulous dinner for three, including a 4-sample app, and three main courses. Wait staff was extraordinarily friendly and attentive, food was prepared perfectly (although salad dressing not our taste), and prices were reasonable. Atmosphere is very cozy and friendly. In winter, the opening/closing front door proved a little drafty at times. We look forward to heading back to our new favorite Syrian restaurant soon!!!

The decor at Le Souk is absolutely adorable — such a relaxing and cozy Mediterranean vibe. The chicken kabob was decent, but I think a little more seasoning would have elevated it even more. The lemonade, however, was refreshing and delicious! Definitely a cute spot to sit back and enjoy the ambiance.

This was supposed to be a nice evening over delicious Syrian and Mideterranean food and music, but the food was gross and the music was Indian. Such a waste for the trying-too-much decor. The young lady who took our order was courteous and friendly. That was the only good thing about the experience. Oh, that and the pomegranate spicy tea. The menu is modest and the choices are limited. I doubt this is really Syrian. Looks like one of those tourist traps except that it’s in Montclair, NJ instead of Montpelier, France. The chicken fattah was soggy and watery. It looked like breakfast cereal. The chicken with pomegranate sauce had a nasty smell and the sauce (which I believe was syrup and not cooked sauce) was watered down. When added to the chicken, makes it tingy, pungent and tastes rancid. The young lady waitress tried to convince me to order something else. I preferred not to and settled for the pomegranate tea and baklava. She nicely offered barazek (sesame cookies) and a piece of mabrouma. Such a lovely person. Keep her. Not the cook, who showed an attitude and started ranting in Hindi. So, no. Not really a good idea to eat there unless you have no clue what Syrian or Middle Eastern food is. Then, it would be easy to fool you.

We stumbled upon this place and we were hit with gorgeous aroma when we walked in. The pomegranate chicken was HEAVENLY and the staff were kind and hospitable. Prices were extremely reasonable as we got such great food and atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back and hear some live music!!

This is a lovely, local spot with great Mediterranean food. The service was excellent. Really loved the Labneh. Ordered the chicken kebab and it was very good, with tender chicken, fluffy rice and fresh salad. The lentil soup was flavorful and perfect on a frigidly cold day. Lastly, the halava was exquisite. They nailed the texture and the fresh pistachio were excellent with it. Very good over all.

My friend and I couldn’t have had a better experience! We stopped in for lunch earlier today and were blown by the amazing decor and atmosphere. The owner’s nephew greeted us; he was so kind and attentive. He made recommendations for food which we took him up on. All of the food is made from scratch and with so much love. It’s hard to find places like this these days. The Baklava and Halava were incredibly tasty! Le Souk is quite a gem! We absolutely will come back and enjoy the food again. If I lived here, this would be a staple in my “go to” places. Thank you so much for such a lovely meal.

Le Souk is one of those places that stays with you. The moment you walk in, it feels like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home. The food is incredibly flavorful, everything from the creamy hummus to the smoky baba ghanoush to the juicy chicken shawarma tasted homemade in the best way. The pomegranate chicken was a standout, sweet, tangy, and full of depth. I loved the special brunch board-it had a little bit of everything!

Chef Jumana has created something really special here. You can feel the love and intention behind every dish. It’s BYOB, and they also have a small market inside with Middle Eastern spices and goods to take home. Can’t wait to go back!

Unfortunately, this entree is overpriced at $24. The chicken was bland along with the rice of which it was over portioned and lacking in seasoning- with only a tiny bit of wilted salad. No sauce was included. Definitely NOT worth $24. Nearby places such as Falafel Hut on bellevue have much better quality.

A few friends and I stumbled upon Le Souk, and we were immediately encapsulated by the wonderful aroma of food being cooked and an intimate but bustling atmosphere of community. The lemon tumeric hummus was phenomenal, so flavorful and addictive. Paired with the labneh elevating it even further. The pomegranate chicken was so juicy and sweet, the walnuts gave a nice crunch and the side of hummus rounded out all of the flavors from the chicken. Lisa our server was sweet and attentive. We had such lovely conversations with her and Zack, truly wonderful people who care about the peoples that come in. I highly recommend this place for a welcoming community and amazing food. You will get full quick! Great spot for a date night or a nice evening with a few of your friends.
