Been here twice. My Haitian family loved the food. The first time we waited over an hour for our food and it’s freezing inside so this time we thought we were smart – we called at 1:30
requesting a 6:30 pick up for take out. We got there at 6:35 and they told us 30 minutes. We should have left then. It’s 8:01 and I’m STILL WAITING! It’s a shame it’s only one of 2 Haitian restaurants in Manhattan, but next time we will go to Brooklyn.

Deliciously authentic Haitian cuisine. Came here per the recommendation of my Haitian friend and it did not disappoint! Portions sizes were large and great for sharing with a group. So many dishes I cannot recommend enough.
We ordered the fried goat, fried pork, oxtail and Legumes, which all came with rice and small sides, and were highly tasty. Even amongst four hungry people, we left with full stomachs and leftovers.

Used to live in Miami and have ate at many Haitian restaurants. This one is better than most I’ve been to. Very flavorful and fresh. Especially liked the stew chicken with black rice and griot. The rice and beans and legume were good as well. Will definitely be back!

Update: Have been back a few times and my favorite dish so far has been the Fried Snapper! Sooo good! Also tried the shrimp in sauce. Can’t go wrong with anything here. Food has been consistently flavorful and fresh each time.

I went there with my family of 10. Everyone received their food except my mother and I. We were very patient because we were having a great time. Everyone finished eating and I STILL hadn’t received my food. He said he forgot to put my order in. I asked for the food to go….. unfortunately, they ran out of the rice I ordered, salad rouse, and fried plantain and expected me to pay for my order. When we disputed the charge, he said he already made the plate and I had to pay for it!

The meals satisfy completely and staff anticipates customer needs. The personnel show genuine workplace contentment. Most of the menu items show real skill. I didn’t expect to feel so comfortable here. Exceptionally flavorful dishes everywhere!

Ordered to go and got the beef platter it was dry and cold. The delivery guy must have eaten some as the plate seemed empty for $24.00 I got served a lunch special plate for full price. Not happy with my food choice today

The food here is delicious, a great combination of flavors and it comes in huge portions. The menu is a bit small, but has good variety and changes daily. Service was very friendly and fast. I would definitely go back to try out more options and their smoothies.

I recently visited this Haitian restaurant and was disappointed with my experience. The food did not meet my expectations in terms of flavor or quality, especially considering the prices. For the cost, I expected authentic taste and better portions, but instead the dishes felt bland and not well-prepared and seasoned. Spent over $150.00 and I felt like the food wasn’t worth that price at all. Maybe it’s best to lower the prices if the food is not even tha tasty.
While the staff was polite and the atmosphere was okay, the overall value was lacking. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would return or recommend it given the high prices and unsatisfying food.

I would rate my experience a good 5.5/10
High cost, the fish was hard like it was cooked 2 days before and just given to us, it wasn’t fresh.

I think this place can do better—

Came in excited for our first taste of Haitian food. Left confused, disappointed, and emotionally scarred.

We should’ve listened to the reviews. But no — we believed, we hoped… we suffered.

The smell hits first — a potent mix of old grease, damp mop, and sadness. Flies circled like they had reservations. The vibe? If a waiting room and a storage closet had a musty love child.

Our waiter was clueless. Couldn’t explain a thing on the menu. Every question led to a deeper spiral of confusion. We ordered blindly — big mistake. Maybe the food had potential, but we were too busy dodging flies and questioning our life choices.

Dear owner: Please don’t respond. Save your breath. Spend it deep-cleaning, repainting, and hiring someone who’s heard of customer service.

Haitian food is beautiful. This place? A disgrace.

Zero stars if I could. Never again.

I’ll start by saying the food is incredible. We got the turkey stew with black rice. So yummy.

There are 6 tables in the restaurant. 4 that fit 4 people each and the other 2 fit 2 each.

However, I cannot understate how slow the service was. I’m a patient dude but even after acknowledging us looking at him the waiter took another 10 minutes to get us menus. Then he took a long time to take our orders.

The food came out except for our patties which didn’t come out until long after we ate our food. Not sure what took so long but one of them was still cold on the inside (maybe they were defrosting).

Then we waited a while to get our check to the point we walked up to the counter to ask for it. He said he’d bring it right out. My girlfriend used the restroom and then I used it. Dude had literally done absolutely nothing in that time (for our table or any other table). We should have been in and out in 30-40 minutes tops but it took almost 2 hours from start to end.

They accept credit cards.
