Wife & I dined in tonight. I got the Crispy chicken cutlet with rice combo with a side of the braised bean curd tofu in thick broth. And she got the signature trio shrimp noodles. Let’s start with the positive: the noodles, soup, sauces are good and on point. The waiter is amazingly nice, authentic, caring and helpful! Possibly the only reason I didn’t minus one star. Ok, the negatives: I have attached the pictures for reference… The crispy chicken is thin, small and not super breaded like the menu picture. The so called thick broth is not so thick, and just marinated tofu in a salty soup. Either this is false advertisement, a joke, a prank, inflation is real or just an amateur chef… I can go to SGV for actual real authenticity and better quality of the same food for less money and taste way better. This restaurant needs to either improve the non soupy foods or just stick to the soupy foods only. Overall, not a bad place to eat but don’t expect it to be authentic Asian food.

Just tried Le Shrimp’s new menu item, chicken and rice (along with their popular signature trio noodles). One of the best I’ve had. Good quality, healthy tasting and generous portion size. Very nice, relaxed setting in their new, beautifully built out restaurant (along with Paradise Dynasty next door). Thank you Drew, for the great service. Will definitely be back soon.

Review: Le Shrimp at Brand

I recently had the opportunity to visit Le Shrimp at Brand, a unique venue that has merged with another restaurant, and was eager to try their offerings. Overall, I was impressed by the friendly personnel and affordable prices, which made for a welcoming atmosphere.

Upon arrival, I noticed a bit of food on the floor, but given that we visited during the last hour before closing, I expected a bit more attention to detail, especially in a new establishment. The venue itself was pretty and well-decorated, providing a pleasant setting for a meal.

I ordered the signature Trio Shrimp Noodle dish, which had good flavor and featured organic ingredients, a plus for health-conscious diners. However, the dish lacked spices, making it somewhat unremarkable despite its healthy profile. It was a great option for those seeking a nutritious meal, but I was left wanting more depth of flavor.

My biggest concern was the cleanliness of the place, which should be impeccable, especially given the low attendance during my visit. As a new establishment, Le Shrimp at Brand has potential, and I hope they address these areas to elevate their offering.

Despite these improvements, I’d return to try other dishes, drawn by the affordable prices and friendly service. With some tweaks, Le Shrimp at Brand could become a standout in the area.

It was good soup! Shrimpy broth, nice crunch in the fresh prawns, and the hot sauce on the side is a MUST. delicious Mala spice leaves your tongue slightly numbed the thin noodles were my favorite. Never tried a flavor soup like this before, worth a try. About an hour wait so be prepared to wait!

Absolutely loved this place! The shrimp broth noodles with chicken were amazing—so rich, flavorful, and comforting. Our server was incredibly kind and helpful, and her recommendation was spot on. The dish came out perfectly warm, which made it even more satisfying. You can really taste the care that goes into the broth. Great service, great food, and a cozy experience overall. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great to finally try this brand new restaurant. Food was super delicious with deep flavors. Loved both the shrimp broth and the chicken broth. Noodles are high quality. Appetizers on the menu were great and came at a fair price. Space is clean and attractive. A bit small so best for groups of two. Service was a bit uneven as they are still understaffed and trying to figure things out. Definitely a promising new restaurant for Glendale.

Took advantage of their deal on DineLA.

Casual dining spot physically connected to the parent Paradise Dynasty but completely separate service. The gentleman who waited on me was very friendly and helpful.

I had the Crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls and Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle. The spring rolls were quite good, perfectly browned and crispy with an adequate amount of vegetable that still held their integrity. The dipping sauce was thankfully not overly sweet. At most restaurants, I skip the sweet chili sauce because it’s too sweet. The noodle dish was interesting. You absolutely must be a fan of shrimp/seafood as the broth strongly carries such flavor. It was more oily than I like si it had a mouth-coating feel. You get everything listed but it won’t quite look like the picture. The cabbage was cut into very small pieces and extensively cooked so they were rather mushy. The noodles are obviously par-cooked then finished off in very hot broth but mine held together like a brick even after 5 minutes (see pic) and I had to work to break it up. Everything else was cooked well and I rather enjoyed it. I liked the wonton a lot and wish there were more than one. The spixe-heat level was good for me but would be too hot for my mom and some friends so be wary.

It’s a good spot for quick service for not a lot of money. Other reviewers have had some vastly different experiences and I can see that with a newly opened business but this is a franchise that trained its employees at other running locations so it should be consistently better. I do look forward to coming back.
