Had a great girls night out on a Friday night. We enjoyed everything! It can be a pricey club-like place so if youre into that, it’s for you. It is for me!! Hookah, drinks and service were satisfactory. The later it gets into the night, the more crowded it does become. Got there around 8 and stayed a few hours. Toward the final 20 minutes of our visit, most tables were taken. It truly becomes alive and magical ✨️

First time experience was great no complaints. I went on a weekday during the day with a friend. Ambience was fine service was good and music wasn’t bad.
Ok so now I went back on a weekend because I heard this place gets better at night with a live DJ. I gave this place 3 more chances before I finally decided I’m not coming back. This place was convenient due to getting of work and stopping by for drinks and music.
DJ is ok he doesn’t play mix music mostly sticks to one type of music. Food is ok, taste like it was taken of the freezer and put in a microwave. Drinks were ok not enough liquor is ever poured in them. I had a frozen margarita and it was watered down couldn’t even taste the liquor at all.
Ok now service is horrible. The girls should definitely be more attentive when working. They spend their time hanging around the bar smoking hookah! I’ve never seen them drink but I wouldn’t be surprised if they do that as well! I’ve never seen anything like this any place I’ve been. Not sure who the owner is but that’s very unprofessional!!
The last time I went was my last straw. We ordered a hookah and the girl who was attending us just left the hookah on the table didn’t even bother to set it up. If I’m paying for the hookah I’m expecting full service, that includes setting up the hookah. She barely came by to ask how we were doing because she was too busy smoking hookah by the bar.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Usually it’s a great time at Le Roi. The owner, bartenders, and managers are great. Just don’t expect the best service from the waitstaff. We had to wave someone down for a bottled water, and refills weren’t checked on.
BE AWARE OF THIS: They show the total on an iPhone/iPad without a breakdown of each item, followed by the tip screen. Of course I tipped regardless of the hiccups, then later realized it was more expensive than I expected so I ASKED for a copy of the receipt and saw that 18% gratuity had already been added — so I double tipped for mediocre service.
Just something to be aware of when visiting.

Goodie
Went there over the weekend, left dizzy, throwing up, and possibly drugged. Had 2 drinks and spent 4 hours afterwards throwing up and completely sick. Was robbed while there. Had a $100 check and they gave themselves a $90 tip. I will NEVER go back if I could rate this place a ZERO I would.

This is one of the best hookah places in NYC I have tried. They have outside and inside seatings. The insides is all decorated with beautiful paintings on the walls and have the city lounge themes. Service is excellence, you see the hostess runs to welcome you once you enter. Drinks are absolutely delicious and looking fancy. They have some food snacks which is needed with those drinks.
They also have over 60 hookah flavors with different shapes, personal hoses and fruit tops.
It’s absolutely a great place to chill, listen to good music and smoke some hookah with great drinks.

It’s always a great vibes at le Rois. If you’re in town check it out you’ll have a blast with your friends. The hookah is great, the customer service is great and the food is amazing. If you go, you definitely have to try the Halal food my personal favorite is the chicken over rice Try this place out you won’t regret it

I need to find out what DJ plays the good music and because that’s the day I want to go I don’t like standing around because I don’t know what song or because it’s not my vibe five songs back to back not being my vibe I want to leave now but then that one song is on and I want to stay so it’s like play more of that. No one’s dancing when it’s music that’s not liked. I have a playlist of all the music that’s in right now and all the music that people love to have I can give it to every DJ that shows up
