We had a fantastic dinner tonight to celebrate our anniversary at Le Resto. Our server Julian was absolutely incredible. He was busy serving, making drinks, and coordinating to-go orders and pickups, but his service was still top notch. The ambiance, food, drinks, and experience were incredible. This was our first visit, but definitely won’t be our last! It’s awesome to have such a high-quality (yet incredibly affordable) dining option in our little town. Easy five stars for Le Resto!

We came here for ramen because we didn’t want to drive all the way to Pittsburgh, and it was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful with a fancy atmosphere, and the curry ramen and mango tea we’re incredible. The staff was very friendly and they have live music too. Highly recommend!!!

The first thing that appeals to you is the character of the restaurant. They took an old bank and turned it into a respectable Japanese cuisine. Food is very well prepared. Menu items had a strong variety. One other thing that I’ve really appreciated is how much the staff enjoy working there and are proud of their facility.
I would absolutely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice chic place to eat out or an evening of good take out.

My mom and I have been here a few times since it has opened and we love it here. We try lots of different sushi restaurants in the nearby areas and this is by far our favorite. Sushi is super fresh, full of great flavors and the drinks are awesome. We like the casual and relaxed atmosphere and always feel comfortable coming here. Others may also enjoy that the menu has lots of pictures for those looking to try something new.

I admit, I went during a Halloween event they were having. There was a buffet and I didn’t order any custom dishes.
It took me a while to get my drink, although the woman was pretty nice She unfortunately struggled to communicate.
The way everything was decorated was really cool though!
The food at the buffet was really disappointing, I’m not sure if I will be returning to this location.

So happy to see such a beautiful restaurant in my home town!! I saw Le Resto on google maps and saw the interior and knew we had to go. The waitress, Emilee was super nice, and attentive. We got a Neshannock Creek beer and the Japanese Style Espresso Martini. Both were great! For an appetizer we got the edamame, some were cold so maybe could have been heated longer? Either way still pretty good. For dinner we order a sushi bowl, the Shaggy Dog, the specialty tuna crunch roll and the spicy yellowtail. All were GREAT and I will order again! The sushi bowl had some sort of yellow crunchy vegetable that was so yummy, I’d love to know what it was. For dessert we ordered the special, Japanese style cheesecake with strawberries, and I’m glad the waitress let us know that this would be more like a strawberry shortcake, we decided to still try it and it was also fantastic!
I am so impressed and soo so happy to see such a beautiful place with great food open in New Castle.

My wife loves sushi…… So, for a celebration of her retirement, (42 years with American Airlines) I took her for a surprise dinner at Le Resto. We’ve never been there before and were pleasantly surprised. The setting is in a restored old bank building/lobby that is full of marble and high ceilings. There is a piano in one corner, and a fake fireplace in the other. The Bar must be 100′ long. There are three giant vaults with one being converted into a dining area. The food was fantastic (we both traveled internationally, and have eaten on all four continents) The service superb. (Thank you Julian!) The ambiance great. The experience excellent….. What a hidden gem, in of all places, downtown New Castle! We WILL return!

Staff was great. Atmosphere great. We ordered 2 appetizers which were small, but good. Ordered a specialty roll a piece, both were $24-28, and small. We said we’d go back to try the regular dinner but not sushi again. Way too overpriced for what we got. Our bill was $85 and I left still hungry. They need to fix their portion sizes or their prices, or this’ll be another closed business in 6 months.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere is awesome. The owners did a lovely job turning a bank into a high class restaurant. The spicy tuna had some kick to it. Our server didn’t make it around very often to refill water. Overall, it’s great place to

UPDATE: 2 months ago, we had a family birthday-dinner at LeResto. My credit card was charged TWICE…once for our table, and again for another table’s bill of $189.00. Kaiden, the server, assured me a credit would be run through and it would take a couple of days to see it. That was fine.
I waited a week and NO credit from LeResto. I went into the restaurant and inquired. Kaiden seemed puzzled and wasn’t sure how to issue a credit. They were busy, so I wrote a letter to the owner telling him that I will simply dispute the charge with my credit card company to get the credit, which I did. A week AFTER I handed the letter to LeResto, the owner called me to apologize for the mix up and inconvenience. I assumed he understood the letter, but a week after that phone call, I saw a credit from LeResto on my credit card bill for $189–this in addition to the Dispute credit that my card company issued to me. Clearly, the owner did NOT read my letter. So, I called the credit card company to ask to have the Dispute withdrawn and they informed me that the Merchant (LeResto) would need to tell them it’s been handled and they will adjust it on their end.
THEN, a week after the credit from LeResto, I see an ADJUSTING CHARGE to my credit card from LeResto for $189 charging me again since my credit card company had issued me a credit with the dispute. This is fine, as now we’re ‘even’.
A week AFTER the Le Resto Adjusting Charge (this has all taken like 2 months to transpire) I receive a letter from my credit card company stating that LeResto informed them that they credited me for the mistaken charge so they will Reverse the credit to my card for the $189.00.
So, after all of this, I’m still OUT $189.00. Le Resto has my money.
Clearly, the owner is not competent enough to resolve the situation so I’m posting this update to my original review to inform the public that you put down a credit card at your own risk at this establishment. VERY DISAPPOINTING. This mistake on their part should’ve been handled at the moment the mistake was made and not required 8 weeks of back and forth effort on my part…just for me to still get stiffed? Yes, I’m unhappy.
New Asian Fusion restaurant in New Castle. We’ve eaten here four times now. They seem to be still getting their sea-legs.
The food is fresh, incredibly delicious and pretty to look at. The Ambiance is fabulous in the old bank well-restored/modified to convert the old teller line into the bar.
Dinner last week was fantastic. Took our sushi-snob son and he said the tuna roll was hands down the best he’s ever had.
I’m on a diet and got the Teriyaki chicken with no sauce or rice. It was incredibly good. Hubby and son had the Dancing Beef and they both went nuts for it. They shared the crunchy banana with ice cream, honey and fresh grated coconut.
My son reports that the pricing here is a dollar or two more than the sushi and Japanese places in Boardman, but we saved the drive and supported a local business, so for us, it’s a win-win.
Highly recommend Le Resto.
