Beautiful hotel! They did an amazing job remodeling, taking care of every single detail, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the rooms, the lovely patio, even in the uniforms of the employees. Really stunning place!!
However they need to work on their service… You can see and feel how the employees walk from left to right, right to left. Not making even eye contact with the guest. Very sad. Need some improvement in the service and this would be top rated. I must say even the manager/supervisor was just walking around, and honestly when you see more than 3 servers standing on a comanda, means something is just not ok.
I will definitely give it another try, the food was very tasty and definitely a very charming place..

Firstly who could give this restaurant a review less than 5??
It’s a very calm and beautifully designed space, with plenty of seating outside as well as inside. The food is great and you get a lot of advice on wine pairing as well.
Many amazing find, don’t tell anyone 🙂

I know many people complain about food, but honestly this restaurant has the best drinks and atmosphere in Nice. The service was excellent, and a special thanks to the bartender unfortunately I didn’t catch his name, but his cocktails were outstanding!

This place is amazing in all ways. Beautiful, calm and hidden venue, excellent food and very nice and dog friendly staff. I already made two additional reservations and cannot wait to come back. It’s a place where you want to try everything on the menu.

Ok, first of all, let’s remind the reader, that it is 2024 – the photo of my meal might trigger bad school canteen memories- unfortunately the food is subpar- unimaginative, bland and overcooked. It’s definitely not a modern cuisine- no fresh vegetable on the menu, no salad, not one healthy choice. For starter we had also just fritto misto and followed by fish of the day. Desert has one good edible component- chocolate- the pair undercooked. Champagne was good, service was great, atmosphere great, but if one can’t eat the food why return ? I was excited to have another place to go eat for my lunches, but sadly won’t return for the food.

An unforgettable experience. We came here for a birthday dinner, and everything was exceptional. From the warm, genuine smiles of the staff to the exquisite food and the lady sommelier’s impeccable attention, every detail was flawless. One of the most charming spots on the French Riviera, where service, atmosphere, and perfection come together in true luxury

Great atmosphere. Went there for Dinner was disappointed for the price paid. Service is not worth five stars (sorry). The food was good but not worth the price. Dessert was average and we tried three of them.

Well after reading some of these reviews, I’m wondering where some of these people have been dining. I went here with my partner for my birthday dinner and was pleasantly surprised. After having visited a few times during the summer and always had a good experience . This dinner was delicious. A simple but refined menu and amazing service from all staff. The dining room was chic without being too much and there is enough room and noise to still have conversation and enjoy the simple decor. Honestly will definitely be back and the bread is to die for also. Thank you so much to the team for the service and amazing food and look forward to revisiting soon. The Saki cocktail is just yummy!. ❤️❤️❤️

The poultry dish was the best cooked bird I’ve had. Very attentive service. We had a few appetizers as well that were quite delicious. Ambiance was inspired.

The hotel and the estate are undoubtedly stunningly renovated and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly, and the market in the courtyard (every last Saturday of the month) is incredibly romantic, the whole setting feels like a movie backdrop. We discovered the establishment through Monocle and were looking forward to the food and a pleasant lunch.
After two incredibly disappointing starters, we decided not to order any main courses at Le Couvent. The extremely small portion of “Seiches en Salade” for EUR 24 had about as much flavor as a glass of water. And the four small, uninspired shrimp tails in the “Crevette Française” for EUR 36 offered no trace of culinary delight.
At these prices, in a place like this, the experience was a major disappointment — what a pity.
