Wonderful bar/ restaurant opposite the river. Excellent service and value. I ordered the wrong wine by accident and they changed it without any fuss. The staff spoke decent English too which helped us!

This is a verry good place to take the lunch. First of all, the food is excellent! Second it is open all day long!
I took the menu of the day, in which the main dish “Duck heart skewers with fries and Fois Gras sauce” was delicious and my wife took “Creamy risotto with porcini mushrooms and Fois Gras sauce”, one of the best risotto she tasted utill now.
All in all, a very good choice for us!

Food was enjoyable and presented well. Came here a bit too early not realising the kitchen was shut. However the staff kindly made a charcuterie board whilst we waited for dinner service as we were starving! Had a lovely view of the river from the restaurant

We walked past and popped in for some lunch and so glad we did, the best risotto I’ve ever eaten in my life! The scallops were cooked to perfection. My partner had the duck breast and it was tender and tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Good value for money. Would definitely visit again!

A beautiful restaurant by the river. The set menu is great and offers good value for Bergerac. The Gambas and Saint Jacques starters we’re excellent, beautifully presented and delicately flavoured. The mains of Duck, Steak and Beef and Duck Burger were all delicious with generous portions and superb accompaniments. The local house wine was very good too. We had a wonderful evening in a memorable setting with a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, thank-you BelleVue!

Very disappointing. Wife and daughter ordered the mains and I ordered oysters with two starters – I asked for the oysters and one starter to come together (as starters do) and for the second starter (which was a warm dish) to come with my wife’s and daughter’s main. Oysters came right away. Then the mains for wife and daughter came about 10-15 minutes later. When they finished eating their mains and my starters still hadn’t arrived, I cancelled my order by signaling to the waitress (who was too busy to address our issue). The waitress then miraculously appeared with my warm starter. It was a pasta. It was overcooked and dry. I only ate it because I was hungry. My wife and daughter’s mains were pretty good but nothing special. Not a restaurant I’d recommend. The restaurant we ate the night before (that had a poorer rating) had far better service and food and a better atmosphere despite it not having a view of the river.
