Le Pressoir never disappoints us when in St Martin! We have dinner here every time we travel to the island which is usually twice a year. Our table of 4 had foie gras, Steak Rossini, Steak AuPoivre which is prepared table side, and a nice CDP Télégraphe wine. We also had a lovely chocolate dessert that everyone shared which was great to finish the wine! Everything was prepared perfectly and it was another incredibly delicious dinner and special time at Le Pressoir. This is a family run restaurant and they are all making sure you are having a nice time and offering the best service on the island. I highly recommend getting a reservation here – be prepared for culinary delight!

Amazing dining experience as always. This is our third time back over two winters. Food is always excellent and inventive. We had the seven course tasting menu and we really got a taste of a lot of the signature dishes. Expensive ingredients used (caviar and truffles came with multiple courses). Service is attentive and friendly. Will come back every time we are back in SXM.

I booked a reservation for my partner and myself as a birthday dinner and we both agree that this was the perfect spot to dine. We ordered the lobster bisque for an appetizer. I ordered the shrimp and asparagus risotto. He ordered chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms. I must say the food was absolutely phenomenal. The service was impeccable. Our waiter and waitress were easy to talk to and answered all of our questions as we were not used to french cuisine. We will absolutely be back!

We had the pleasure of dining at le Pressoir on October 15 and can say with confidence that it was one of the best meals of our lives. In particular, the beef tenderloin with fois gras was sensational. Creative presentation of the dishes was impressive. The atmosphere is cozy and not fussy and the service is excellent. As regular visitors to the island, we have added them as one of our go-to spots for a special meal.

Tried this for the first time last night. Food was off the charts good! Nice selection of options in many varieties. Had to apps(oysters and faux gras-creme brulee), two mains(lobster medallion and a passion pork) then split the dessert sampler. ALL very good! We asked a few questions of our waiter and he knew what he was talking about, have us great insight to help make our selections. We also watched him make crepes for other tables.
The issues I had were:
As expected the portions were small. I’m a big guy, 6′-4 and love my food.
Also as expected, it was expense. $450 for 2 people.
We asked for an outside table, which we got, but the table was too big for the space and I felt very cramped. It was a table for 4 and had we been four I don’t think we would have fit. A smaller table in that space would have been perfect.
As we were leaving we walked through to the bar on the otherside of the main entrance…a VERY cool rhum bar with probably a 100 out better options. Also a smaller cigar and rhum/whisky/after dinner drinks bar. Both looked amazing.

We came here for a special occasion dinner and were so impressed. At first we worried the menu was a little too traditional for us, but the quality of the dishes was truly exceptional. The dover sole is can’t miss, with mashed potatoes absolutely full of butter. We also tried the pork loin stuffed with duck confit, which was unique and delicious. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance is romantic without being overdone. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a special dinner in Grand Case.

Perhaps the best restaurant the Caribbean? Gil and Milaur are the best hosts managing the main dining room with ease. You feel as though you are entering a private home ready, relaxed, at ease, and anticipating to receive one of the best meals on the island. It’s so hard to pick one item on the menu, but you absolutely must choose the egg parfait, it is one of those items on the menu that you have to try. Because once you do, you will be coming back time and time again for a bite of this delicious dish. I’ve had the Rossini Tourneau topped with seared Foie Gras, and sole meunire with a beurre blanc, the pot pressoire, the branzino, i could go on and on. But suffice to say you really can’t go wrong, just decide surf or turf and sit back and enjoy. The wine selection is worthy of the food (they can help, or you can just have a Frenchman with you!). Tasting menu or a la carte, they can pair the wine with the meal and make it extra special. But don’t forget the Rum Room. Jason will be there to help you digest your meal with a splash of rum from around the world. With over hundred rums to choose from, you need the curation of Jason to steer you in the right direction…and if you like cigars (i do!) then you can light up an authentic Cuban of your choice. This place is truly one of the absolute gems on the island. And yes the food is superb, the atmosphere a 10, but Gil and Milaur just are the perfect hosts to your evening. If you don’t go here at least once during your stay, you will be missing out!

Lovely restaurant, excellent service, Tournado Rossini not very tender but tasty and the fois gras and lobster bisque were perfect. Will definitely return soon for the shrimp risotto and crepe suzette which we learned from other diners was delicious
