Reviews
The menu leans fully into a French farmhouse sensibility, and their charcuterie is a standout strength. Cured meats, fresh baguette, rich aiolis, and generous butter had me happily starting my day in the most indulgent way possible. Not every element transported me straight to Provence, but enough did that I found myself briefly whisked away.
The interior matches the vibe: rustic, vintage, and cozy, the kind of space that invites you to slow down whether you planned to or not.
If you’re seeking classic French comfort with an unhurried spirit, Le Pichet is absolutely worth a visit.
for two bar seats.
The meal started off with baguette & butter, which they give for free. It was pretty good, although I wish the butter had been salted. Also nice of them to give us more after finishing the first set.
We ended up getting the roast chicken for two, which took about an hour from order to service. The way this worked is each of us got a plate with a couple chicken pieces in a kind-of gravy. I got a leg & thigh piece.
I’d say the chicken was quite good. The skin was very crispy, and the inside was pretty juicy. Since it’s dark meat, it’s easy to not overcook, but they didn’t make any major mistakes there.
The squash-based sauce was probably the best part, though. It was super tomato-forward, and acted as a wonderful complement to the chicken.
We also got a chocolate mousse dessert, which was also decent. The cookie was a nice touch, but the whipped cream was odd.
This was pretty expensive. In total it came out about $50 per person, coupled with two glasses of wine along with the chicken.
Overall, I’m not sure the wait (both to get in, and the food) is worth it when there’s a ton of other good options around this area, but it does serve pretty good food. 8.25/10
We’ve visited twice for brunch and had a wonderful experience each time. The menu changes with the seasons, which makes every visit exciting and fresh. Highlights for us included the freshly squeezed orange juice, the flavorful sardine sandwich, and the delightful petite charcuterie board. The duck pâté is an absolute must-try, and the seasonal soup was light, balanced, and delicious.
The service is warm and welcoming. The staff are not only friendly but also very knowledgeable—they offered thoughtful recommendations and excellent pairing suggestions.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back
