Le Petit Bouillon Pharamond

  4.0 – 8,452 reviews   • Restaurant

Traditional French cuisine served in an old-world dining room with flowery walls & etched mirrors.

Stunning. Despite the Bouillon value pricing the meal was superb. The Camembert with honey, just awesome. The Butchers Cut, whilst not expected to be ultra tender, was perfectly rare (as ordered) and great flavour. Lemon cream with meringue perfect.

With a soft drink the €25.70 was terrific value. Great decor and the staff super friendly. Portions much more generous than other Bouillon I have visited in Paris. This is the top spot anywhere near this price point for me. Simply wonderful.

Very good experience. I arrived early to avoid crowds. By the time I finished my 2 course lunch, the place had totally filled up.
Having lived in France as a child, I experienced the similar tastes I had craved for and could never find elsewhere. Especially in a dish like tripes à la mode de Caen. Well done. And priced honestly.
Overall very pleased.

The experience was overall pleasant. The steak frites were good, and the sausage was also tasty, the sauce and potato purée were particularly nice. The snails were also nicely seasoned and marinated. Overall, it offers good value for money, though the service was quite slow.

Although the food itself was genuinely enjoyable
— the overall experience was dampened by the service. The waiter seemed to be in a constant hurry to clear the table and free up the space, which made us feel a bit rushed rather than relaxed. It gave the impression that turning over tables was more important than letting guests enjoy their time

Very good and affordable French food, with generous portions and authentic flavors. It’s a perfect spot for tourists who want to try local cuisine without spending too much. The servers were extremely kind and patient with our French hahaha, which made the experience even better. The place is cozy and welcoming, although it can get a little crowded at peak hours — but that just shows how popular it is.

Can’t believe there is such a long queue for this restaurant that serves average food. if you have another 10 to 20 EUROS to SPARE and want to experience good experience, please just go elsewhere to eat!

It is affordable but unfortunately we can’t finish our mains because it is the worst meal of our 7days in Paris. There are great restaurants that serve great french food and kept us wanting more.

I’ve still decided to give a 3 stars for this cheap food experience, but my wife definitely was totally not impressed at all.

There is 1 waiter particularly rude and impatient as well, took wrong orders (short of 1 additional starter & sides), we had to call 3 times and wait around 15mins to clear our bill and leave the place.

A classic Parisian bouillon with real old-world charm. The historic Art Nouveau interior is stunning, and the atmosphere feels lively and authentically local. Traditional French dishes are simple, comforting, and very reasonably priced for the location. Service is efficient despite how busy it gets. A great spot to experience traditional Parisian dining without the fuss. ⭐⭐⭐⭐½

Authentic French cuisine, with very beautiful authentic decoration . I ordered bone marrow which was just good , too salty though! Chicken with potato purée was really good under seasoned ! The server were nice. The place was too crowded but the prices were very affordable

The place looked fancy, but the prices were surprisingly affordable. The staff were neither overly accommodating nor rude. We tried their marrowbone, butcher’s cut, and smoked pork. The marrowbone and butcher’s cut were delicious, but the smoked pork didn’t quite live up to my expectations. I enjoyed the way it was cooked, but it lacked flavour. Since we were a bit full, we didn’t get to try their other dishes. However, I can confidently say that this place is worth your money if you’re on a budget. The service was quite fast, and I recommend booking a table a night before your planned date.

Traditional French cuisine restaurant opened over 100 years located around Chatelet. Lunch time they don’t take reservations so better go early. You can try most of the French traditional food here with really reasonable prices. Highly recommended for travellers . Simple and traditional decorations with very effective services, will come back again.
