Nous vous accueillons sur la place de la Fourche, à 100 mètres du Vieux Port de La Rochelle, où vous pourrez apprécier le calme et l’authenticité du lieu. Une grande terrasse à l’ombre d’un arbre remarquable est à votre disposition. La place est piétonne pour le bonheur des enfants et de leurs parents.

We had a fantastic experience at Le Panier du Crabes in La Rochelle! We arrived without a reservation but were lucky to get a table for two by going early — definitely recommend that approach if you haven’t booked ahead.
We ordered the seafood platter and it was absolutely delicious. Everything — from the crab, oysters, shrimps, to the snails — was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The quality of the seafood really stood out.
The outdoor seating added so much to the experience. It had a charming, rustic maritime vibe that made us feel like we were enjoying our meal right out on the harbor. A perfect setting for seafood!

Really loved this place. The seafood here is top class, super fresh, well prepared. The plates are overflowing with seafood so you won’t leave her hungry. The area itself is very lovely to sit outside. Staff are friendly and efficient. Price for what you get is incredible. Highly recommend here

It is not a restaurant with the view to the harbour, like all the other here around, but it is a restaurant with a flair and a charm. It feels like sitting in the backyard with friends.
The seafood was great, together with the wine. And the waiter was friendly and charming and bring that right feeling of a dinner with friends. And specially for our daughter he organised fries from the neighbours restaurant. Many thanks for having a dinner here.
Good to know, be here early can help to get a table. And the menu is small and limited and it is mainly seafood, except the desserts.
And during our visit was there live music, which was very good, that’s maybe something special during the festival time here.

A lovely kurb side restaurant serving fresh seafood. On a sunny day you’ll be sat outside on a small square enjoying a platter of lovely seafood (oysters, crabs, prawns etc…) and a lovely bottle of wine. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the dessert is worth going for. It’s the simplicity of the dishes that make this place standout, it’s all about the quality of the ingredients which this place nails. A joy to come to!

This is a fantastic place to enjoy some fresh Seafood. We had a mixed Seafood platter for 2 Person and we couldn’t finish it off. The Location is perfect (when the weather is nice), like a garden restaurant not far away from the old Harbour.

A must to go in La Rochelle. Amazing food, very friendly, professional and helpful service with reasonable price. Special thanks for teaching me how to properly eat crab:) They have many tables but considering that it is a hot spot, I recommend to make a reservation, we could reserve a table for 2 for the same day. Oysters and shrimps were our favorites.
