Handcrafted goodies run the gamut from fresh-baked bread to macarons, all made in a French style.

A delightfully delectable French pastry shop bringing a bit of Parisian flare and creative exuberance to the Pike place area. My only complaint is that I asked for a chai latte, and they did not have one and gave me a coffee latte instead, and I’m not the biggest coffee fan, but the atmosphere and the ambience of the plays, the delicious food and the whimsical visuals of the place, more than make up for that. The making of sweets is a true art for the French, a craft that requires imagination and whimsy, and that artistry is fully displayed here, with such an extravagant array of delicious treats. Just looking at them feels like a feast, and they taste as good as they look. There is a rather extensive variety of a Claire is especially, and I particularly recommend the pistachio ones, which are creamy and flavorful and reminded me greatly of a similar pistachio eclair I had once on a day trip I took from Paris to Versailles. Everything that is enchanting and hospitable and creative about a true French patisserie is present here. This is one of my favorite places to go in downtown Seattle.

This place is amazing. The pastries are fresh and full of flavor, and the sandwiches are just as good. If you want a sandwich, make sure to stop by around 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. — they don’t have them out early, and they go fast once they do. The coffee is delicious, and it pairs perfectly with one of their croissants or tarts.
There’s usually a line when you get there, but it moves quickly. The best time to go is right after that first morning rush and before the market fully opens. The whole place smells like butter and espresso, and it’s worth every minute of the wait. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Seattle. Five stars all the way.

Found this lovely French bakery at Pike Place Market and noticed a huge queue (totally makes sense)! The pastries were delicious, and the coffee was excellent. It’s the perfect stop if you’re walking around the market and want to enjoy a great croissant with a nice cup of coffee.
Definitely recommend stopping by! ☕

This is the best French bakery in Seattle, hands down. When you walk in, you can cruise through the displays, they’ll have all kinds of sweets and baguette sandwiches. I’ve been coming here for 26 years. My mom loves all the house made breads here. Also, my favorite pastries are the friand and le palmier. The picture I have for illustration is this apricot pie I brought for a Super Bowl party, and it was delicious.

2. The taste of bread. A good place.
3. If your girlfriend likes bread, the place she wants to pack and buy for her.
4. Kind employees and everyone who smiles and welcomes them.
5. The seats are a little narrow, but there is a edible space.
6. Where more people come than expected.
7. First of all, a place where travel can be happy thanks to the employee’s smile.
8. If you come back to Seattle, the bakery you want to stop by again.

Ordered:
Champignons – Mushrooms with a mild sauce. Decent, but $7 felt like a bit of a stretch for what you get.
Strawberry & Fall Spice Macarons – Way too sweet; one bite was enough. Couldn’t bring myself to finish another.
Pain au Chocolat – Standard croissant with chocolate inside. Nothing extraordinary.
The hype and crowd around the place might make you want to try everything, but honestly, you’d be better off exploring other local options. The sugar-heavy, bland French bakery items aren’t worth it.
Feels a bit like a rant, but the cost doesn’t match the taste nothing particularly special here.

We stopped in on a whim and I’m so glad I did, I had the most incredible peach pastry here. It was called the “croissant aux fruits”, featuring glazed peaches and cream in a flaky, crispy pastry. My husband had a ham pastry which he enjoyed as well, and we shared the “au jardin” which was very good too.

One of the cafes that I always go to when I visit Pike Place Market.
I used to love their baked sweets a lot! Since I don’t like sweet stuff as much, they become a little too sweet for me.
But the texture of their baked goods are very nice!

I am a solo traveler from Japan.
The kouign-amann was absolutely delicious.
Despite my limited English, the customer service was excellent.
Especially the staff member with short blonde hair wearing a mask — she was very kind and welcoming.
If I have the chance to come back, I will definitely buy it again!
