Social Profile:

We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

Classic light fare & organic breads fill out the menu at this rustic-chic bakery/cafe chain.

This is a cute little bakery. The breakfast croissant was simple and perfect with the side salad. It was one of the best vanilla latte and I loved the huge cups in comes in.

Salad was good… priced higher than I would pay, but once you add protein in it, it definitely becomes way over priced. because the amount is very little. Also, the sheer amount of tomatoes they throw in the salad is insane. You can actually have a little personal LA TOMATINA of your own here… The server was friendly and nice—

I visited Le Pain Quotidien with high expectations, but the experience was mixed. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the coffee at all — it had almost no coffee flavor and tasted mostly like milk. The French doughnuts were also disappointing; I expected something more flavorful and special.

On a positive note, the cheesecake was very good and definitely the highlight of my visit. The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, and very pleasant, making it a nice place to sit and relax.

Overall, it’s a beautiful space with some good desserts, but the drinks and pastries didn’t meet my expectations.

I am not sure how the food is but the coffee was so bad I couldn’t drink it.
It has a nice atmosphere and it looks like their food and bread is good.

On Valentine’s Day, we came to get the car serviced and strolled around a bit. We found this brunch spot—the croissants are really famous and delicious.

We visited this coffee shop two years ago and had a good experience back then, which is why we decided to return with my wife and my son. Unfortunately, this time the experience was very unpleasant.

We arrived around 7:30 p.m., and the place was in very poor condition in terms of cleanliness. Most of the tables had leftover food on them. Even so, we placed our order, which included pumpkin spice coffee without sugar and some pastries.

We looked for a table with fewer leftovers, and when an Asian girl who worked there passed by, we kindly asked her to clean the table. Her response was:
“Are you going to buy something?”
A completely inappropriate question, since we were obviously there to make a purchase.

Eventually, the same girl cleaned the table, but she did so reluctantly and, in a very rude manner, threw the trash at our feet.

To make matters worse, the coffees were served with sugar, despite our clear request for no sugar. When we complained to the same girl, she was reluctant to replace them, and when they finally agreed, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes.

A very disappointing experience in terms of service, cleanliness, and customer treatment.
We will definitely not be returning.

Be careful at this restaurant.
They may try to cheat customers on tips. If you don’t put a dash or write the total amount on the receipt, the server may add a tip in any amount they choose and charge it to your card.

Also worth noting: the restaurant manager did not offer any apology for this situation. They simply refunded the amount the server took, and that was it.
