We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.
Classic light fare & organic breads fill out the menu at this rustic-chic bakery/cafe chain.

The mushroom ricotta flatbread was another standout. A must-try if you’re visiting!
However, I don’t recommend getting the avocado tartine. It’s quite expensive for very few toppings and not very much avocado.
As someone who avoids ultra processed foods, I appreciate the focus on wholesome and delicious dishes and drinks with careful selection of ingredients.
I also find it quite nice to finish up a meal spreading a bit of jam on a slice of scrumptious bread. I love that they have jams around the restaurant for the costumers to help themselves.
The caveat is that if you want to dine here, you need to have plenty of time at your disposal – you need to wait for the service and wait for food. We’ve been there twice for lunch and spent almost 1.5 hours each time (of course we hadn’t learned from the first experience). The staff are friendly and I hope that in the future they can become more organized =)
Our breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien was a tasteful experience. The diverse menu offered delicious twists on breakfast classics, satisfying all tastes. What truly stood out was the kindness of the staff. From the warm welcome to their attentive service, every moment felt genuinely welcoming.
The Avocado Toast, was served promptly and a perfect blend of flavors. The staff’s enthusiasm and helpful recommendations added an extra layer of joy to our morning.
Great start in the day!
The workers are always nice, welcoming, and accommodating.
We spent hours here on one day and it didn’t even feel like it. Cozy atmosphere with WiFi. An upscale Starbucks without the cheap chain feel.
More space and cushions on the chairs would be ideal, but otherwise this is a great place to eat, relax or work.
Our menu celebrates the simplicity of fresh, nourishing food. From morning to evening, there’s always a new favorite for you to discover.
Our Stories
Le Pain Quotidien means the daily bread. And to us, that means everything. It’s much more than mere sustenance; it’s a way of life. “My idea was simple, having a place where I can feel home… away from home.” – Alain Coumont
