We’re always looking for new African restaurants to try, so when this location recently opened, we had to check it out. We forgot to take photos, but we ordered egusi, efo riro, and grilled snapper with jollof rice.

The egusi was good and not too spicy. It wasn’t quite seasoned as I’m used to, but it was still enjoyable. My husband enjoyed the efo riro. We also tried the snapper and jollof rice. The snapper wasn’t prepared the way I expected (with tomato, pepper, and onion), but it was grilled perfectly.

The jollof rice had a lot of tomato sauce and wasn’t similar to Nigerian-style jollof. To be fair, they didn’t market it as Nigerian jollof rice—that was just my expectation.

One thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant was. The staff was also very friendly. At least four different people checked on us and asked about our experience, which we really appreciated.

Beautiful environment where to eat one of the best African food in ATL. Some of my favorites are Lamb Chops for meat, grilled salmon for fish and peanut butter for soup. But you can also get amazing dishes such as Beef ribs or Suya, Egusi or red snapper… I always enjoy to eat there
