We came here only because of the reviews, and this turned out to be a huge mistake. If you are a tourist, avoid this place at all costs ‼️
We arrived cold and hungry, yet the restaurant was almost empty, and still the door was left wide open, letting cold air inside. Only after asking a second time did they finally close the door, by which point we were already sitting there cold and uncomfortable.
The escargot were a disaster. We waited close to 30 minutes only to be served overcooked, dried-out snails that should never have left the kitchen. To make it worse, the waiter brought the escargot without bread, placed them in front of us, and walked away. The bread was finally tossed onto the table 5 minutes later. What kind of service is that? What’s the point of serving an incomplete dish other than frustrating the guest even more?
After that, we waited another 20 minutes for our mains. I repeat, us and another table were the only clients. The main courses were mediocre at best – nothing more than average.
Ironically, the kitchen sounded full of laughter and fun all evening – until we ordered dessert. The apple pie arrived and the presentation was shocking. But looks aside, how do you manage to ruin apple pie? It was completely inedible.
Overall, this was a frustrating, unpleasant experience. Long waits, poor food execution, dismissive service! We would absolutely not return and strongly do not recommend this place.

Despite it being pretty quiet when we visited, this was an absolute star of a restaurant for us on our trip to Nice! The waiter we had was incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions, and the food that we ordered came out cooked to perfection! I definitely recommend a visit!

I had a lovely dinner here yesterday- escargots and followed by the octopus. The octopus came on a bed of creamy mash and was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the escargots too. Pierre was the waiter- really attentive- everyone was very nice! I also had two glasses of wine and a coffee

This was our destination for new years eve, and what a restaurant this was. It was recommended by “Le Central” as they were fully booked.
The staff were excellent, the service was fabulous, and the food, well French cooking at is finest.
A very good selection of meals and even more wine.
This just made our new year !!!!
I wish we lived closer to dine more often.

Came on the coldest day in Nice, they set up heaters outside and we had a lovely dinner. We met the co-owner and he was very lovely to talk to and they had gluten free options. The steak was cooked perfectly (one of their gluten-free dishes, as someone with celiac disease). Overall a very lovely restaurant and their outdoor seating was perfect.

We ate dinner here. It has a lovely outside area to sit in but we sat inside instead. Inside is spacious and nicely decorated. We had the duck a l’orange. It was so yummy! The wine list is excellent as well. Service was good and very friendly staff. We’ll be back soon.
