We had a delightful dinner here our 1st night in Paris. Sat on the terrace and enjoyed live jazz music and the vibrant atmosphere. The food was delicious.

I had a terrific lunch here from their 29Euro menu with goat cheese salad, steak and fries and a wonderful waffle dessert. They also offer draft beer by the litre and I had one. Great view of Notre Dame from the patio. Service was very efficient. I would return and bring friends

A real tourist trap to avoid. Awful food, directly defrosted. Service was ok, but the whole experience was quite disappointing, no atmosphere at all, view on Notre Dame only partial.

Le Montebello has a fantastic view of Notre Dame and the Seine, along with stairs that are over a hundred years old leading upstairs. The food is wonderful and staff members are great. Seating is availabke both inside and outside.

Very nice place. Food was delicious, staff is very pleasant and speak English. Great view at the Notre Dame cathedral makes this place perfect for short break after long walks. I’m not sure why others gave low rating. Me and my girlfriend had a lunch (steak and pasta with beer and coffee) with an average price of 30 per person.

We were very warm welcomed. Get dishes without extra waiting. I had t-bone steak but without bone. But it was prepared medium rare perfectly. Duck in orange was delicious. Tarte tatin was good but pastry too much burnt.

Really enjoyed the place. Nice quiet sidewalk away from the big Notre Dame crowds but still close to enjoy. The food was very good though a limited menu for lunch. The fried halibut was wonderfully breaded with a great sauce. Enough for two. The hamburger with bacon tasted like they just killed the cow, the beef so tasty with a delicious cheese and sautéed onions on top. Reasonable price.

LOCATION excellent just aside the river, catches the sun at times while also being surrounded by cafes and side streets. Tons of outside seating and a fun atmosphere. Several beer options, including IPAs, and daily happy hour promotions. (I didn’t try them food, but they have sides and mains). Servers were running frantically but got the job done.

Cups were dirty, fries were radioactive yellow, “steak” was 80% fat. If you come here, be VERY VERY careful of what you order.

Eating here was one of my first experiences of having French cuisine, that being said I have virtually nothing to base the food on. After browsing the other comments I saw that the food was not to the highest standards. The view was beautiful, and we dined briefly before the sun had set, leaving the buildings painted in golden hues. If you have money to spend than I recommend going here for the scenery and staff!
