This is truly a little piece of Paris in Bergen, the decor, the velvet, the food! Amazing and super cozy.
This adorable bistro serves escargots, cuisses de grenouille and tartare.
Our sweet waiter recommended Venaison et céleri for dinner and this was an excellent choice.

The quality of service and food was well worth it for a beautiful date night. The wine selection is fitting for a French cuisine restaurant. Would definitely come again.

Stumbled upon this elegant and cozy bistro on our first night in Bergen (from California), and made it a point to return for our last night. It was so refreshing to find a small island of fine dining without all the tourists. The food was delightful and refined, the staff knowledgeable and gracious, the wine list varied and interesting. Visit this bistro while you can still get a table!

We had 5 courses Christmas menu and it was incredible! I LOVE main course (which is Confit de canard) I would DIE for it! -1 star cus even I love bluecheese, Fourme d`Ambert is a bit too overwhelming. My two friends couldn’t finish this dish (but i did finish this dish)
Good vibes and service we were kind of hungry and a friend of mine asked if the waiter can tell the kitchen to be a bit more faster (two first dishes took an hour). The waiter was kindly offer us bread , butter that came with it really has a good scent.

We had the most fabulous meal here last night in every way. The ambience was wonderful. The beef bourginon was the best we’ve ever had and was just spectacular! Our server, Titauren was so attentive and on top of everything! We will be back!

I only ordered the Moules Frites for lunch as I mistakenly let the hotel breakfast stuffed me. Anyway the mussel pot was fantastic, nicely presented and the mussels were juicy, soft and sweet. The compliments were relatively strong though comparing with typical mussel pot – there were tomatoes and Espelette pepper so it was a little bit spicy, I found that nice anyway. And very good wine I had.

Absolutely worth a visit when you’re in Bergen. Very beautifully decorated French bistro with a charming wine “salon” in front and a tiny sidewalk cafe, as well as a small secluded patio out back. The mussels in white wine were delicious and the steak with peppercorn sauce was worth the splurge. House wines were good and the service was gracious and friendly. A wonderful place in Bergen for a special meal.
