Very delicious! Especially the fish soup and backed garlic mussels. The oysters are big and tasty as well.

We don’t really like the rabbit leg, it’s a bit Stringy.

Reservations are recommended 1–2 days in advance. We didn’t book ahead and the restaurant was fully booked, but luckily they squeezed us in for an hour. It was a bit of a rush, but we really enjoyed the meal!

One of the best food we have ever had! Love the steak and the waterzooi chicken. Super delicious. The staffs were very friendly and thoughtful. Me and my husband tried to share 1 waffle and they cut it half and served as 2 plates. That was really nice of them. 🙂

– Friendly, very attentive staff, not pushy or rude.
– Accommodated us last minute to fit us in on a Saturday evening.
– Seafood very fresh tasting and not one bit of grit in my entire moules dish.
– The pricing is very fair especially considering the quality.

Was expecting a pleasant meal out but was turned into a special occasion by the staff, cannot recommend enough. I have eaten at Michelin guide restaurants which do not stand up to my experience at Le Marmiton, visit if you can.

We came here for dinner and had an phenomenal meal. We ordered two Duvel Belgian beers as drinks, the grey shrimp croquettes with fried parsley as an appetizer, and the mussels poulette with fries as our main. Although we thought the croquettes were overpriced for the portion size, everything we ordered tasted delicious. The garlic white wine cream sauce from the mussels stood out in particular with such rich flavor, and the mussels were all huge! These mussels are the best we’ve ever had, and we would definitely come back again for more moules frites!

A very popular place. I booked my seat months in advance and have seen many people being turned back because restaurant was fully booked. Had the set menu with mussels, carbonade and dame blanche. It was really good!

Fabulous tiny corner of a trendy, crowded central Brussels area.
The food was absolutely delicious. Service was also superb.
Due to its constrained area, the ambience is a little condensed but this is just me being extremely picky.
The cheese croquettes are fabulous. I could eat buckets of those.

I really wanted to like this place more, especially since the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The highlight of our meal was definitely the chips, which were perfectly cooked and delicious with ketchup.
Unfortunately, the main dishes didn’t live up to the same standard. The mussels lacked freshness and tasted like something you could get from a supermarket. The fish stew was okay, but it wasn’t memorable. We left feeling a bit disappointed with the food.

Without a doubt, one of the best meals of my life! We really saved the best for last for our final meal in Brussels! The mussels are extraordinary and it’s hard to articulate how good the melted chocolate served over ice cream is! I highly recommend reservations as the place fills up quickly.

What an amazing little find! Le Marmiton has as much creativity in its dishes as it does friendliness in their staff and style in their simple yet elegant decor. Francois was a wonderful server, recommending wine pairings with the starter and main, which were spot on. What a great afternoon! Highly recommend.

Didn’t have booking so we went early at 5 pm the waiter offered us a table but told us we need to finish by 6pm before the customer with reservation comes so we really appreciated that. Food was nice ordered Beef Stew, Waterzooi, snails and scampi. Everything was fabulous but the scampi tasted more like normal prawn than scampi so that was abit odd. Was €100 in total including 2 drink.
