If you want to experience food like never before, you NEED to visit Le Margo. The food is exceptional, and the ambiance just adds to it all. It is a hidden treasure and worth the trip to Eymet just to eat here. Be sure to have reservations because it fills up quickly. You will remember the experience guaranteed and your taste buds will thank you for a lifetime.

For a small rural town, Eymet is blessed with a choice of good restaurants. We are delighted to confirm that Le Margo is up there with the best of them – from the warm welcome, through the delightful decor, the excellent wine list and of course, the fabulous food. We visited during their second week in the new restaurant location and everything was faultless – the food as ever, interesting, beautiful, and well-balanced. If you like art, great food and ambiance, then you’ll love Le Margo. We’re so lucky to have such a gem here.

Right, so I had vegetarian food for lunch.
Not by accident, mind you. On purpose. Voluntarily.
No meat. No bacon lurking in the sauce. Not even a sad little anchovy pretending it’s a herb.
Just… vegetables. Dressed up like they were going to the Oscars.
Foam, peas, artichokes behaving like steak, and a dessert that looked like it had crash-landed from a posh galaxy.
And here’s the shocking bit:
It was amazing.
I know. I expected to chew through guilt and cabbage.
Instead, I got flavour explosions, textures like edible jazz, and left without that “I need a nap and a priest” feeling.
Turns out, eating healthy doesn’t mean punishing your taste buds.
It just means chefs have started using magic instead of butter and despair.
Who knew?

This place is amazing. Welcome and attentive service from the moment we arrived to leaving. The food was excellent looked delicious and tasted delicious. Never rushed and everything explained if we asked. We will definitely be back soon.

Every time we eat here I feel cooler than I am. The atmosphere feels like you could be in a large cosmopolitan city, not a typical town of 3000 in the French countryside. The food is excellent and locally sourced, the service is lovely in any language. We discovered regional wines here we dodnt know about. Don’t hesitate to book!

What a wonderful dining experience. Brief menu but everything looked lovely. Our beef and desserts were absolutely delicious. Atmosphere and eclectic decoration keeps your eye bouncing around the restaurant, curated well. Nice being able to see the chefs cooking through the glass. Exceptional value can highly recommend.

This restaurant is fantastic. Every element of the experience combines to be a true delight. The food has a combination of textures and flavours that wow and exite the palate, The menu is fresh and varied, and you are able to see the food being cooked in front of you. The building, the decor, and everyone that works there really cares that you have a wonderful time. There is even a DJ playing a fantastic soundtrack to your meal.

Incredible food, by far the best meal we had visiting the local area. Gorgeous atmosphere, quirky decor and truly wonderful staff. They were so welcoming and attentive, the whole vibe is amazing. Highly recommend visiting. Book a table if you can, I tried to book another table over the weekend but it was fully booked – never mind, we’ll definitely be back again in the future!
