In 2021, Michel Reybier wished to reinvent Le Loti at La Réserve Genève in order to tell another story. The new Restaurant & Bar area has been totally redesigned to create a single universe, which extends onto the terrace and blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. The decor conjures up a fabled ‘elsewhere’, a blend of distant influences joyfully intertwined by Jacques Garcia. In this dreamlike travel journal, blue, beige and ochre create a soft and luminous atmosphere that continues outside. Everywhere, the mysterious jungle atmosphere dotted with ferns and exotic flowers invades the premises, under the attentive gaze of the legendary parrots.

Very good restaurant located in the 5-star Hotel La Réserve Geneva. Excellent food, pleasant atmosphere, good service and stunning views of Lake Geneva, the city and the Mont Blanc in the background. if you book it ahead, they even pick you up with their “motoscafo” (motorboat) downtown Geneva, so you can enjoy the short boat trip to La Réserve and see the Geneva Fountain from the lake, which offers a unique perspective of its beauty.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Le Loti inside the Hotel La Réserve in Geneva. First, the hotel has a very warm vibe with luxury jungle/safari lodge theme inside. The tables are sufficiently spaced for pleasant conversations around dinner. Service was nice but a little bit slow (we had to repeat a few times same orders and were waiting 10’ for water to be proposed/served). Food was delicious. I had the black cod glazed superbly with miso. The side of mushrooms was tasty. Also had a selection of appetizers beforehand amongst which the straciatella with truffle was a delight. The tarte tatin apple pie as dessert was a good finish.

We just love the « new » decoration and atmosphere ! We were there for a sunny Saturday lunch and the view on the lake was just wonderful. The prices are a little high (predictable for a 5 stars hotel restaurant) but not exaggerated. I recommend !

I had dinner at La Réserve and ordered the Tomahawk steak (CHF 175 for two). Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. After waiting nearly 50 minutes, the steak arrived mid-chewy and portioned so small it could barely serve one person, let alone two. For the price, expectations were much higher.
On the positive side, the pepper sauce and side vegetables were very good, and the service itself was excellent.

Overrated and way overpriced. Atmosphere is nice and the tartare was good, though more than one toast would be nice.
The dessert are really nothing special. Service is really slow and they forgot most of our requests.
