Honestly one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. The food looked extremely unappetizing and poorly prepared. The meat was drowning in grease and oil, the plate looked messy, and it seemed like everything had been sitting for hours before being served.
The plantains were dark, soggy, and tasted old instead of fresh and crispy. The soup was bland and looked like colored water with barely any flavor. Even the salad looked thrown together with no care.
For the price they charge, this quality is unacceptable. Presentation was terrible, flavor was even worse, and the overall experience was very disappointing.
I definitely won’t be coming back. There are many other places that serve much better food and actually care about what they give to customers.

I order the appetizer pork and the portion was small after that I order the honeydew boba and was disappointed because it was cold on the outside and lukewarm on the inside and lastly my rice with duck, it was crunchy up top but different tasting compared to other duck in other restaurants where it is soft and easy to eat.
For restaurants to eat at for Vietnamese I would recommend going to pho 101 where prices are reasonable and if you are looking for duck try eating at bangkok.

Friendly faces, assisting at every turn you make, helping tourists and customers navigate through the menu. Authentic food at its best as Haitian music fills the air. Noteworthy… they also sell authentic Haitian breakfast, but the star of the show for me was their freshly made lemonade…. Omgggg, the islands came alive in my tastebuds. I had the beef and eggplant dinner with a side of fried plantains and rice and beans. They are located off 41 and Port Charlotte and opened till 9pm.

My first time trying them and I will not go back. I spent $44 dollars and there was hardly any meat in my trays. I paid for oxtail and goat. The goat had a piece on the bone and the rest was small hard pieces, but the oxtail were very good but little meat in the tray. The meat was covered by the big pieces of dry plantains and the rice was sticky and clumpy. The beans were just sauce with no beans. It was close to closing hours, so I don’t know if that was the reason for the poor quality of food. The last at the cashier was friendly and the other workers were smiling and nice!

Le Lambi is deserving of beyond 5 stars! This restaurant not only provides a very nice dining location, but the food is beyond 5 stars! The Service is exemplary! This family-owned business is remarkable and a great experience. I am truly proud to have Le Lambi as my preferred vendor for catering all Jougies Events within Charlotte County and Punta Gorda! If you love Caribbean food, I highly recommend this restaurant located in Charlotte County. I look forward to using their catering services for three of my Jougies upcoming events! This place slaps! The service is great and friendly. The food is out of this world…so much flavor! My husband and I visited today for the first time and we were greeted by a nice lady that was preparing the food. She suggested we try the Griot fried pork and I’m so glad I did. The portion was insane and the young lady that waited on us was super friendly and I could tell took pride in her job. We came here and received amazing food, great value for the money, empathetic staff, and chill atmosphere, and spicy food on the menu that is actually spicy. Will definitely return.
