4/10 – Food quality quite disappointing.
– Steak was spoilt (sour taste)
– pig offal had a bad smell ( didn’t wash properly)
– Duck confit leg had some feathers in them and could be softer.
– The other food quality is ok but average taste
– Saving grace was the service, also they didn’t charge for the spoilt steak

Great lunch spot in Pauillac,
Tasty food, good options for the menu of the day, great service, friendly staff.
Like the mystery wine that you have to guess what type it is and they offer you the glass of wine.
Went another time and was insulted by an older guy working at the restaurant !!!
Will never be back nor bring my clients there again !

A rather disappointing experience. We came on a Saturday evening and were seated. The total wait for the first meal was over an hour, due to lack of staff. The owner ( what it seems to be) was there with his family and could care less for his guests; moreover, he was making jokes about how this will “ fera la bit “ to his servers. The young girl serving that night was doing a good job, considering she was by herself and left down by the management. The food was average, the prices was more or less correct.

I stopped at Lafayette for a quick refreshment and a descent selection of beers was offered to me… Finally, I stayed for wine tasting (Le fleur de bouard, chateau charmail and a “surprise” wine that amazed my tastebuds) and their swordfish catch of the day along with local shrimps: delicious! I´ll definitely come again with connaisseurs!
