Yo this place was delicious.. was not expecting much but yes please.. egg rolls and rangoons were fresh and amazing.. noodles and rice were delicious and plentiful.. will definitely be returning..

I know this time of the year can be busy i totally understand! But when the order was placed 3 hours before, you’d think it’d be just coming out or just finishing up, i still patiently wanted an extra half hour without recieving my food just to cancel and get a refund. They did not want to give me a receipt, i had to ask to see it. What restaurant doesn’t give recieipts to their clients regardless if they pay cash? When people order ahead of time it would be polite and adept to actually respond to orders timely. The young women at the register was also rude towards the end with her snark comments and unpfroessional way of answering/ explaining.

This restaurant uses doordash to deliver for them. When doordash delivered food to the wrong address, the owner made it right by delivering the remade food himself to our house. Food was great and service to fix the issue was top notch. Well done!

Christmas Eve rules are different and we didn’t know so it caused problems! They do not operate “first come first served”. Even if you place a phone call order an hour before you plan to come pick it up, THEY DO NOT START MAKING YOUR FOOD UNTIL YOU COME IN AND PAY FIRST! THEY DON’T TELL YOU THAT OVER THE PHONE WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER. WHICH MEANS THEY’RE GOING TO HAVE A LOT OF PO’d CUSTOMERS who come in to pay who want to just grab their food and leave right away, just to find out that after they paid they still have to wait a whole nother hour. Deceptive! Had I known that before I paid I would have taken my money elsewhere for Christmas Eve. Lesson learned.

They can’t make their orders “in order” is not a standard I agree with, so I’m boycotting this restaurant. If I feel like Chinese food I’ll order from either KINGS WOK or Golden Gate Restaurant.

Food is amazing! I always order online, which is very easy & pick up. Not really a place to dine in. Unless you just want a spot to eat your food..nothing thrilling about eating there. But again food is really good & you get a good portion. I recommend!

First time to try Le Gong Gourmet and the food was delicious! Better than the Chinese buffets. The Orange chicken and chicken fried rice had good flavor, and the lunch special was a good size! I will be back. I did burn my tongue on the orange chicken sauce because it was so hot, so be careful. The restaurant is under new ownership, so I wonder if they will expand in the future. It’s good to know there is a reliable Chinese restaurant in Waukesha.

Every order is 20 min regardless of whether theyre busy or not. Recent order took 53 min. Thats shady business – get em in the door by saying 20 min with no intention of actually having it done anywhere lose to that. Im fine with a bit of bend, not trying to overburden the service industry.

As newcomers to the Waukesha area, my husband and I were excited to try Le Gong Gourmet after seeing recommendations in the “Waukesha Eats” Facebook group. We placed an order through their website and got orange chicken, beef with broccoli, white rice, lo mein, and crab rangoon.
The food was delicious and had a homemade feel to it. The portions were very generous—we could only eat about half of what we ordered! For the price, the quality and portion sizes were excellent.
We’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!
