Le Galoubet has a warm, homely charm, made even cozier by its beautiful open fire. The service was friendly and attentive, and every dish impressed — from the silky butternut velouté and prawn ravioli to the perfectly cooked duck breast and tender onglet. Exceptional food, lovely atmosphere, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Whenever we come to Arles, we always enjoy dining at Le Galoubet — a reliable choice with an excellent quality/price ratio and refined yet simple dishes, always beautifully presented.
That said, the service was very poor. The owner was kind and very helpful, but the blonde waitress was more than rude.
I don’t expect a red carpet to be rolled out for me, but neither do I expect eye-rolling and visible annoyance just because we didn’t immediately understand a minor detail — due to our French, which is understandable though not perfect.
The entire service was marked by this same attitude. It was almost a relief to realize that she behaved like this with everyone, regardless of nationality.
Truly excellent food, unfortunately spoiled by terrible service.

Just arrived Avignon, local suggested La Galoubet . Fantastic suggestion . Ravioli, Canette , Bavette steak and the dessert of Golden figs with vanilla ice cream!

A great surprise in the heart of Arles’ historic center. The food is made fresh with seasonal ingredients so don’t count on a pages-long menu. The set menus are well-priced considering the level of quality and preparation gone into each dish. Wait staff is very friendly and bilingual. Warm cosy fire (if coming in winter) and intimate atmosphere if you want to get away from the super loud restaurants.

Nice family meal. Much appreciated they could accommodate to vegan. I had the gazpacho no cheese and they made a special vegetable plate which was good and tasty given the lack of other good vegan options around. Nice wines including organic small producers.

Lovely place. The food was different, tasty and beautifully presented. The setting is also very nice. Only complaint would be our mains arrived a little bit colder than they should have, something to improve. But def a place to visit when in Arles!

Simple menu that was wonderfully executed, and has so far been the best value for money during my 2 week trip in Southern France. Highly recommend the duck main and citron crème dessert. Be sure to make a reservation as we saw many people being turned away throughout the night.

We were lucky to call one hour earlier to reserve the Last table for two.
There is a set menu for 35 Euro and you can chose out of four choices for each course.
The Service was very good, the atmosphere was relaxed and the food was very very good!
We had a 0,5l of white wine with the fish because we didn‘t wanna drink a whole bitter. The recommended house wine was surprisingly tasty!

Food was good but there was sand in the salad, which was very surprising. Perhaps not worth the cost. Get a reservation which requires a phone call.

Set French menu. Good food for the price. It was raining hard tonight and it was really comfortable indoors. The blonde waitress mentioned in other reviews was helpful, efficient and thoughtful. The other staff were all very pleasant too. The only downside is that it feels slightly rushed as they do 2 sittings with everyone arriving at once.
