My husband and I love coming here for a quiet and delicious breakfast. The omelette is perfection and the French toast is life changing. I almost don’t want to share because I love this little spot so much and I don’t want the LA brunch line but it’s too good not to share.

They have a regular booth at Playa Vista Farmers market every Saturday. For $17 you get a pretty decent size of quiche with a side of salad with balsamic dressing. They have different flavors of quiches and we picked the chive and goat cheese. A bit light on the chives but you can definitely taste plenty of goat cheese throughout. Pretty yummy when you are hungry!

Le Frenchie Café is a cute little French inspired spot with a nice patio, though be aware it’s right on a busy main road, so it’s not the most peaceful setting. Service was friendly and attentive, and prices are very reasonable.
The pastries were the highlight–super flaky and fresh. They leaned on the sweeter side (a bit too sweet for me), but still really tasty. Pro tip: definitely ask them to warm them up, it makes a big difference.
The coffee, unfortunately, was the biggest letdown. It tasted watered down and lacked depth or richness, which is disappointing since good coffee and pastries should go hand in hand.
Overall, worth a stop if you’re in the area and craving something sweet, but maybe grab your coffee elsewhere.

We went here directly after work and we are the first person to arrived here. Be ready to wait for your food as they prepare it, make sure to keep your friends talking and make some stories before getting a nap. The staff is so friendly and accomodating.

Good food, great cozy atmosphere. The french toast was unlike any I’ve had anywhere else. Very flavorful and the texture was almost like a custard, delicious and not too sweet. Jamel’s customer service was EXCELLENT he really went above and beyond to make the customers in the cafe feel appreciated and welcomed. I would definitely recommend this place.

A little piece of Paris! This café is an absolute gem—cozy atmosphere, delightful coffee, and the most incredible pastries I’ve ever tasted. The croissants are buttery and flaky, and every bite feels like a trip to France. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic French baking!

I was recommended the chocolate almond croissant and it was hard rock, I had to throw it away. I called back and they assured me all bakery is freshly baked every morning, there’s no way it was baked the same day when it felt like eating plastic. The worst croissant I ever had in the westside. Reviews show that I’m not the first one to complain about it

Update: I’ve been to the place often since first review. Still obsessed with their pastries, and service has been wonderful, staff is lovely!
I found them through Too Good To Go App. They gave me 2 pastries for the “surprise bag” which I thought was too small for the concept, BUT they were DELICIOUS. Staff wasn’t super friendly, maybe cause I purchased from that app? Not sure, but I will stop by to try more pastries and see the actual prices. Location is great, and has really cute outdoor patio!

Best pastries in town! I crave the cinnamon roll and orange roll. The flavor and dough texture is unreal. The cafe’s smell of freshly-baked goods is heavenly. Of all the cafes to choose from, this is my neighborhood favorite.
