I am a croissant addict. Wherever I go, always like to “try” every croissant if possible. There was a sign outside of the bakery claiming they had the best croissant in Brooklyn…When I walked into the bakery, it was close to 7:30 pm ish. I only bought one croissant to take home for my tomorrow’s breakfast. I did look around all pies and cakes but told me self must hold on for those until I tried the croissant… All pies and cakes looked very appealing. Their prices were very reasonable or somewhat cheaper than Maryland…
The staff was very attentive and friendly. She did not rush me despite the store was supposed to close at 7:30 pm…
The next morning, I tried the croissant. OMG!! It was VERY GOOD!! I will definitely return the next time when I visit Brooklyn. I am going to buy a dozen of croissants plus their pies, cakes, and quiches!!

This cute little shop is very French and very good. It is filled to the brim with every type of French baked good and pastry you could ever imagine.
I love their croissant sandwiches but I’m sure everything else is also amazing as well.
The staff are friendly and very kind. I would highly recommend this spot if you’re around Brooklyn Heights and want a quality snack.

Very disappointing, especially after seeing so many great reviews. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other than actually helping customers, which was pretty frustrating. I asked for a croissant but was given a pain au chocolat instead, and I only realized it after walking away. At that point, I didn’t want to waste time going back. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to the hype, and the service definitely needs improvement.

I was attracted by the sign outside says “best croissant in NY” so I decided to give it a try. I got a mini one and an opera cake.
The cake was good, about the average, pretty classic.
The croissant is the same. Layers looked beautiful, it was crispy outside but not that soft or chewy inside.
Would like to try the tart next time.

Croissant bad. Soft and doesn’t flake. Whoever voted it #1 Croissant in NY lied… or hasn’t tried any other croissant ever.
Trust me, I have been to Paris.

Mixed feelings. On the one hand, it is super exciting to have a french delicacies place in the neighborhood (they stock imported cheeses and variety of french products which i was not able to find in regular stores). On the other hand, there were several flies flying around and sitting on their good lookiibg breads and pastries without any attention from the staff- it prevented my from buying. But i ordered a crepe with mushrooms and cheese to go. It was big, delicious and also had a bunch of salad on the side (but salad could use more thorough wash imho). It was my 2 meals size so i saved a half for later.
Want to be back to try tarts which look awesome but concerned about the flies situation..

Complete misinformation and deception! I love this place, but on September 18th, when it was my husband’s birthday, I stopped by to pick up a cake and bought a carrot cake. When we got home, I was SO UPSET, and everyone else too, when after blowing out the candles and cutting it, we saw this!!! Anyone looking at this cake would say it doesn’t resemble a carrot cake at all. The next day, I went back to check the label, thinking maybe I made a mistake or misunderstood something, but NO! The carrot cake label was there, and right next to it was my cake, which completely ruined our evening and our view of this place.

Live in the neighborhood and have an addiction to the ham and cheese béchamel croissant. It was a very nice surprise to be helped by the two young men working the counter today. They were helpful, had a positive attitude and efficient. I had stopped going in for a while because the staff was just so unpleasant to interact with:) hopefully don’t have to experience from this point on!
