Nearby Fountainblue. Outdoor and in door dining. Ordered the beef stew cooked n wine and the risotto. The risotto was different more of a Mac and cheese style with ham. It tasted good and was filling. The beef was very god like a pot roast. Tender and flavorful. Enjoyed or meal with 2 Affligem beers. Very nice and relaxing environment. I say check it out.

Great ambiance with tables in the square. Super fast & pleasant service. We did have to wait for the check for 20 mins though, as the place got too crowded. Lamb & Croque Chevre are fantastic. As well as strawberry desert and profiteroles.

We went half an hour before closing time but were denied even a drink. Yet a table of locals sitting next to us got fresh beers. If you don’t want to be kind to foreigners, please don’t work in a restaurant in a heavily touristy town.
Edit: the next day I gave them a second chance only to be treated in a rude way again. Even though my friend speaks fluent French we ware bluntly ignored by the waiter. To be avoided if possible.

Today was a fabulous experience dining at this restaurant; the decor is quaint and has a small outdoor patio area just perfect for a cozy vibe and relaxed atmosphere. The rib steak was cooked as asked medium rare, well seasoned and done to perfection. I recommend Le France and will return. Two thumbs up recommendation.

Excellent restaurant with delicious french food and very kind and foreigner-welcoming staff.
We went there before visiting the castle with our little children. Food and wine were excellent but we were especially pleased with the manager’s help and kindness. I believe her name was Yorik. She carefully explained the menu in English and made great suggestions for our children.
I especially liked the goat cheese salad.

Terrible place, terrible food terrible service, the” supposed” to be in charge guy have this horrible way of talking and add very rude and agressive, didint Even spoke English, couldn’t understand a word, slow service and poor welcoming, we come from Italy and this is the worst place we have ever been! We hardly give reviews…but this one is a must.
