I discovered Le Fontane about 25 years ago, as I newly moved in from Italy. I was looking for places offering authentic Italian recipes. Le Fontane has since been on my list of favorites, and the owner is part of the magic: always friendly and smiling, committed day in day out to make sure that customers walk away with the best experience. Last night I appreciated the Xmas decorations, inside and outside, that make the place even cozier and more pleasant. The food was excellent as usual, and the service was tops. Highly recommended.

The excellent homemade Limoncello sealed the deal at the end of the dinner, courtesy of the owner…

Wonderful experience in the restaurant at a lovely birthday dinner. The food (from bread, salad to fish and pasta entrees and later dessert) was delicious. The staff were really friendly and the restaurant ambiance was cozy and relaxing. The food was well priced. We had a wonderful time. Many thanks to the owner and the staff, all of whom went above and beyond. Definitely a restaurant worth a stop in Katonah.

Good location not too far from 684 exit. They have a large private parking lot and patio seatings. The service was good with friendly staffs.

The food was good. We enjoyed different entrée from the menu. Overall a good experience. Will definitely be back soon.

Le Fontane didn’t just serve me dinner — they served me an experience. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and honestly? Best gift ever, because now I know true joy lives on a plate of pasta.

The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Inside? Romantic, cozy, private enough that you don’t feel like you’re third wheeling the next table over. Outside? Straight-up fairytale vibes. If a raccoon in a tuxedo had brought me a glass of wine, I wouldn’t even have questioned it.

The staff? Elite. We weren’t just served, we were guarded, pampered, doted on like royalty. I swear they had a sixth sense — the second I thought “hmm, my water’s low,” someone appeared out of thin air with a refill like some hydration wizard. Plates? Cleared so fast I started to wonder if I had hallucinated the whole meal.

The food, though. Oh. My. God. My blueberry margarita was so good it rearranged my DNA. The calamari? Perfectly crisp, light, and dunked into a spicy marinara that made me want to shout profanities of happiness. If they bottled that sauce, I’d buy it by the gallon.

For dinner, I had chicken francese that was so tender I’m convinced the chef tucked each piece into bed the night before, read it a story, and whispered affirmations into its little chicken ear. My boyfriend’s shrimp & scallop rigatoni? I stole one bite, and that sauce belongs in a museum.

Then came tiramisu. The staff sang happy birthday and I blushed like a kid on stage at a school play, but let’s be real — if you don’t end your birthday with dessert and applause, did it even happen?

Final thoughts: If the food apocalypse comes, I’m building a bunker under Le Fontane. This is not “just a restaurant.” This is the reason I believe in love.

We are always raving about how good the food is here all the way home. Our last visit we had the Sfizio Italiano appetizer sampler w/parmigiano, bruschetta, sopressata alpi, roasted red peppers, and mini potato croquettes. The peppers are so sweet like candy. We had muscles with sausage. Delicious sliced sausage and big pieces of garlic in a light marinara. I got chicken parm with homemade rigatoni and it’s always good but this visit I couldn’t stop eating my husbands chicken scarp that was on the special menu. It was with bone in chicken that you could taste was roasted and seasoned perfectly. He had requested it served over rigatoni in the same sauce and he then cut all the chicken off the bone and mixed it in that wonderful sauce. It was a little spicy but so wholesome. We finished as usual with authentic apple strudel with gelato and coffees with baileys on the side. The service is fantastic. A waitress there that wasn’t even our server that night came over to say hello. The owner brought us two small glasses of his lemoncello on the house. The atmosphere is cozy and currently well decorated for the holidays. We had plenty of leftovers that we ate the next day, I already can’t wait to return.
