Saying I drove 2.5hrs on a Saturday morning just to have beef stew and bread for breakfast/lunch might throw some people off but honestly its more than worth the drive. I first came to this restaurant with my wife and every other time has been fantastic. The beef stew is absolutely packed with flavor and the meat is very tender. I appreciate the carrots and fresh jalapeños which add texture and some much needed heat to the meal. The baguette was very fresh, crunchy (I guess is the right word) on the outside and so soft in the center. It did a wonderful job of soaking every drop of the stew. I will absolutely be returning any chance I get, even if it means another 2.5hr roadtrip.

The hu tieu bo kho noodles were slightly undercooked, which affected the overall experience. The hu tieu nam vang had a somewhat plain flavor, lacking the vibrant taste I expected. On a positive note, the service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere felt reminiscent of a deli, which wasn’t too bad for a morning meal. Overall, I just wish the food had a bit more flavor to elevate the experience.

Best croissant, baguette, beef tongue stew and coffee ever. To me, they taste better than real French. Vietnamese folks know how to take something and make it better. Croissant and baguette are so light and crunch, you can’t stop eating them! Only reason I give them 4 out of 5 is that the place has a bit of funky smell that can turn you off. Strictly food wise, it gets 6 out of 5 stars! I will definitely come back for more croissant!

I went here with my friends on a cold day that we were craving for beef stew. Nothing is better than this Vietnamese breakfast on a cold day! We were lucky to get a table since it was very crowded, you can be easily split into 2 smaller tables. This is back when COVID didn’t hit us. With the casual ambiance and delicious food, this place can be a daily spot to go. The baguette is very super crunchy and I love it. In addition, they sell pastries and cakes here that I will definitely go back to try them. The only downside of this place is it kinda small so it can be a little difficult if you go in big group. And if you want to hang around after you done eating, you can only do that in the weekdays since the weekend gets crowded, you need to leave for the waiting people.

Good Vietnamese-french cuisines. Terrible rest room. Known for their beef stew, but chicken curry, noodle dish are also good

Food is awesome. I wish they had a cleaner place tho. If it was not for that it deserved a 5 start. Food 5 starts , cleaning of the doors, tables , restrooms 2 starts.

To those of you who choose to eat a Continental Breakfast when visiting OC, you are missing out in life.
While the peculiar store name threw me off initially, since this restaurant is KNOWN for their bo kho (translates to beef stew), their bo kho is to die for. #6 on the single page menu is where the magic happens. It’s got all the right flavors and all the right seasonings. The meat is incredibly tender and the broth is just too good. This is a must-eat place for both locals and tourists. The fruit tart is very on-point as well. Just do it, get the #6.

There was quite a wait just to get seated, very busy in the morning. Had the Bo kho with bread, it was great. Almost as good as home made. I could of eaten 2 servings for sure.
