Chic lounge in performing arts centre with private import wines & dishes like mini lobster burgers.

A very wonderful meal before the opera was had here. The appetizer was an interesting take on a capresse salad, and I will be stealing it for supper parties. We sat at the bar and they were very attentive and had excellent recommendation, in fact the bar tender picked my whole me, and I was not disappointed. The salmon tartar was yummy although it was more similar to gravlax than Asian style salmon tartar but it was good. They were quick and the food was good, which is always a plus when you have a performance to go to. I shall return.

Awesome. Simply excellent in all aspects. Service was great, not too intrusive, rightly tuned. We were a group of 8, had a reservation and i had a chance to taste at all the dishes at the table. On the height we were, everybody agreed to say that it was awesome. Salmon was great, black blood sausage were awesome with their various mashed potatoes, beef of the moment was tasty in its sauce and cooked just right, had the duck leg over sweet mashed potatoes and cranberries gravlax and it was also delicious. Tasted the beef tartare and it was on top too. Entrees were also all good.
Bref, to sums it up, make sure you have a reservation. Then go ahead cause i hope that your experience will be as good as ours 🙂
Favorite dish of the evening would have been for me the beef tartare, followed by the boudin / black blood sausage. Dessert is split between the crème brûlée and the crunchy chocolate praline.

I did not eat here but I did endure an absolutely rude and insensitive experience with one of the staff members here.
His name is Nicolas. We approached him to simply ask for a piece of ice as my 1 year old son had fallen and his eye was swelling. He responded by telling us that they had no ice and to leave the restaurant immediately. This was not said in a courteous manner whatsoever. They were literally making cocktails WITH ICE at the bar behind him. When confronted, he proceeded to say he did not care and walked away.
This is a disgusting attitude to have when you are representing a restaurant.
Nicolas, I really hope you NEVER have to deal with someone like yourself when in need of help, especially for something so simple. You are heartless.

Went in with a friend and because we had tickets for the theatre, we both ordered appetizers and bottled drinks. My friend’s food arrived and I thought mine would be coming up right after. A couple minutes passed and it didn’t, so I tried to signal one of the servers to ask about it but no one even glanced at our direction for long enough that my friend was already done with her food.
I got up and went to the bar to talk to our server. I said I had ordered food but never got it and had to cancel it because of the tickets. His only reaction was asking me if I needed the bill, then. When he brought it to the table, he was very blasé about it, said he thought I had already gotten it and eaten it, never tried to fix the issue or actually apologize. I’ll say he was very nice and polite when taking our orders, and might have been overworked, even though the place wasn’t full at all, because he was also mixing drinks.
By the time the show ended it was midnight, all restaurants were either close or crowded with drunk people. I ended up going home and ordering Uber eats, so with some luck I’ll be able to eat at 1am or so. Very disappointing.

Service was excellent! BUTTT The bavette steak was much too rare, it was like eating jelly. There was almost no sauce or taste to it, just raw steak. The fries and house mayonnaise were good 🙂 The mashed potatoes were ok…kind of like airplane food. However it’s a lovely convenient location to have a drink and snack before or after a show.

Perfect place to eat and/or have drinks before a concert or a show in the area. I would not recommend this place for a date or for food if you’re not going to see a show afterwards, they really specialize in getting you the best pre-show experience. The waiter will ask you when does your show start, so as to coordinate with the kitchen so you don’t have to rush. The food is good and the wine selection is very decent, with a wide variety of types and prices. I got the beef tartare with a red wine, my friend got the salmon tartare with a white wine. The waiter was very charming and he knew his menu very well, he was able to recommend a wine that paired perfectly with our order and our taste. We sat at the “table conviviale”, a round high table that you share with other guests: it was really nice we got to talk about shows with complete strangers, while also entertaining private conversations. It was overall a very nice experience, we felt like the staff was taking care of us and there was nothing left to worry about. Again, this place is only for food before a show. There are better places in Montreal to eat if you’re not waiting for a show.

Very overpriced restaurant service was very nice however very very slow the prices are outrageous for what you get $16 grilled cheese that was tasteless I don’t think it was two year old cheddar I think it was Kraft cheddar. The $6 french fries were soggy. They did have a reasonably priced wine list.
