This is a really nice place, food for great, ambiance was well .. also great and the Team doing the service was super nice.

Courage The Cowardly Dog
My boyfriend and I arrived 1.5 hours before closing and were flatly refused service. The restaurant wasn’t even full, so there’s no logical reason for such treatment. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can only imagine what corners are cut in the kitchen. Unwelcoming, unprofessional, and not worth your time, best to avoid.

As always super great food quality and A1 service. Super nice big reds Côte-Rôtie…..Crozes Hermitage also some good Corsican wines. Love the croute aux morilles and boucher for main….lovely cut of beef. Finish with a cafè gourmand for desert.

I passed by this Chalet when the lake was frozen. You could cycle, sail with the wind on ice, skate, or walk. I have yet to come up in summer.

Very unfriendly. We sat down at 13.45pm at one of three free tables outside and ordered coffee. The waitress explained that the tables are reserved for lunch and for drinks only we can come back at 14.30pm. Then we asked for the menu and again the waitress said that lunch time is almost over. Hence they did not want to serve us. I asked before leaving whether I could use the toilet and she only answered I should ask the boss.
I have never felt so unwelcomed my entire life. Would totally no recommend this restaurant.

A cosy place with a family-run feel and excellent food. We felt the initial reception was a bit frosty and we had to get up from our table to grab our menus ourselves after waiting 7-8 minutes at the table, but once we exchanged a few words of French with the staff they started to warm to us and were very friendly for the rest of the time.
The filét mignon with mushroom sauce was excellent, good quality meat and well prepared. The Corsican house wine was a perfect complement.
Equally tasty was the salmon and for the younger member of the party the burger was “the tastiest ever”!
Prices are a bit on the high side, possible pushed up by affluent customers from across the Swiss border, but nothing out of the ordinary for the area. The views of the valley and lake are a great backdrop for a good meal, and I imagine the terrace must be a perfect place to lounge in warmer weather.

What a shame that they’re so unfriendly to dogs and their owners, especially given the location and the many dog owners who would enjoy all of the benefits of this restaurant. Its so unusual too – i cant think of anywhere else around that has refused us with our friendly pup. Shame…..
