If you’re in EPCOT, this place is definitely worth visiting at least once. Reservations are highly recommended.
Not a big fan of fast food at parks and this really felt like a very fancy choice to escape the crowds and enjoy high quality food. Thanks!
I now like not having the fixed price E course meal because I don’t need the deserts.
My wife had the filet with mushrooms as the side. I had the Canadian cheese soup and their large wedge salad. Paired with pretzel bread rolls everything was great. I got to share about half the filet and it was one of the best ever. We also had the whiskey tasting for $18. $3 more than last year. Still eating here was cheaper than many of the other restaurants and the food was better. Their deserts also are better even though we didn’t have room for them. Actually the Crown Royal peach whisky was the desert.

I must say the food is so amazing it never disappoints you do have to make reservations in advance, but it is so worth the wait. I can’t wait to go back to Epcot again just so I can enjoy the food. This restaurant does not disappoint the maple cookies they give at the end of the meal are amazing as well.
We came here after we had a reservation as I know they can be hard to come by. If you want to try this place, I highly recommend booking in advance.
We waited about 5 minutes before we were seated at a table for 2. I felt the dining space is very tight! I felt as though I could elbow the dinner guest next to me. And I am not one who enjoys dinner conversation when I can hear the table next to me, and they can hear mine. So the atmosphere here wasn’t my cup of tea – also kind of dark. Though this may be part of the ambiance of the restaurant.
I started with the Artisanal Cheese Plate to start. It was nothing to write home about. I think I wanted more of a charcuterie board with some prosicutto and salami but this was just fancy, strong cheese with hard bread and some sweet pairings. If I come back, I will probably not be getting this again.
The complementary bread with the smoked and Sea Salt butter was so so good however. Salty and smokey – you can’t go wrong. Yum!
I decided to create a meal from a bunch of different sides. I got the Brussel Srpouts, the Roasted Cauliflower, and the Pommes Frites. Not sure what I was expecting – maybe some freshness?
Both vegetable dishes were heavy on the marmalade / vinaigrette. They almost felt overly dressed and swimming in liquid. It was so overpowering, tangy, canker sore enducing that it was hard to eat. I wanted them to be more vegetable forward with the accompaniment of dressings when it felt like the opposite.
The Pomme Frites were probably the star of my dinner. They were crispy and full of garlic and herbs. When paired with the aioli, it was a delicious bite fry after fry.
So, when it comes to choosing a side for your meal here, I would recommend the fries and stay away from the veggies – sadly. I probably won’t be coming back here as I am more of a snack eater than a sit down dinner lover, but if I want to give their true main dishes a try, I will make sure to get the fries.
