Very nice and quiet terrace. We like to combine to visit the castle of ferrette and have very delicious tarte flambée‘s and tasty deserts @ Le Caveau Saint Bernard. The service is very friendly and the prices are fair.

The food is pretty good. We had burgers and salads, and a sorbet ice cream. About half the stuff on the menu was not available (no Flammkuchen, some burgers not available, some of the other dishes too). The salads cost 18 Euros for a big portion (marked as 12 Euros on the menu without a size info, but was offered verbally in large size without info about the change in price), which was fairly large but not in relation to the price. The place has a nice decor, good to sit outside (a bit loud somethimes due to the road). Parking available nearby opposite to the church. Was a decent place for an impromptu lunch, but not for a second visit.

The staff couldn’t handle the fact that two out of the three dishes we ordered were vegetarian (one just being large fries and the other a large mixed salad, so nothing overly complicated). Although, they serve both as side dishes to burgers and the waitress actually recommended the large salad to us first, she then told us they couldn’t deliever, reason unknown. After all, only the dish with meat was served, the burger was o.k.; slightly above MC Donald’s level.

Terrasse située en hauteur par rapport à la rue principale ce qui lui donne un charme et offre une vue sur le village. Personnel accueillant et à l’écoute. Chiens acceptés en terrasse. Repas de qualité et abordable. Service de 11h à 17h adapté aux randonneurs tardifs et touristes. Endroit à tester de toute urgence si vous passez sur Ferrette !
