A really lovely Café & Boutique, we had Sunday lunch , some ordered from the set menu and I ordered from the La cart menu.
The food was fantastic a lovely meal, the staff were friendly and helpful, they also speak English which is helpful to those who don’t speak French .
I would highly recommend a visit you will not be disappointed.
Also I need to mention they have an excellent range of local wine and some nice beers .

Such a great experience! You enter through a picturesque courtyard where you can choose a table outside when the weather is nice. Unfortunately we had bad weather but the interior inside happened to be just as beautifully cared for. Cozy and still modern. We had lunch (daily menu) and that was excellent. Normal portions and very good. We will certainly be coming back. The staff was very friendly and they speak multiple languages. I would recommend this to friends and family.

Great restaurant in a restored barn out in the countryside among the vineyards a short distance from Puy l’Eveque. Really good food, well presented by friendly staff who also speak English. Highly recommended!

We recently visited Le Caillau for the second time – we absolutely love it. We took our two little girls (aged 3 and 5) and they both were well looked after. We tried our French, but the waiter speaks perfect English too so ordering was a doddle. The setting is just beautiful. While we were there there was a rain storm which didn’t affect us under the barn. It was actually quite nice (as it was still very warm!).

The prices are very good and the food quality is exceptional. It was around €160 for 6 of us to each a starter, main and pudding (also a bottle of the local sparkling wine which was lovely!)

Should we be in the region again next year, we will definitely eat there again.

What a fantastic find. Searching Tripadvisor we’ve found this hidden gem. You will not find this by accident. It’s an old domain in the middle of a vineyard. The location is picturesque en the service is super friendly.

And the food…..wow! You can choose from a modest menu but that should not be a problem beacause you can’t make a wrong choice. We had the ceviche, the beetroot gaspacho and the charcuterie platter as starters, the rumsteak, sea bass and porc loin as main courses and the mango passion fruit cheese cake as dessert.

Every little detail is thought of and prepared with love!

When in the neighbourhood we will return for sure. Price quality ratio is very good!

Very good redtaurant in the middle of all the wineyards. Idilic place, wonderful building, perfect setting. Small menu but … so good. These prices are stunning for the service and food provided. Ingredients fresh and of excellent quality. Wine at more than decent prices. Almost a must have when in the region. Wonder why they are not mentioned with Michelin. Should have …

What a find in the hills about 45 minutes outside of Cahors. Delightful atmosphere (both inside and on the terrace), friendly and helpful staff, We had just two dishes for a quick lunch, both were exceptionally flavored. Overall varied menu that changes with the season. Vegetarian options. Note they also have a gite and are close to several wineries including Clos Triguedina and Chateau de Cèdre.

It’s such a beautiful place! We only stopped for a coffee and dessert, but thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly chat with the owner ❤️ Hopefully, we can come back in summer when the vineyards around are lush green

Great food and stunning location. Delicately presented. If I was to be hyper critical the steak meal could have been presented slightly better but can not complain at all. Been coming here for the last 6 years! Sunsets are stunning
