Nothing says lunch like a California Fresh on sliced sourdough. That’s an important substitution as the Dutch crunch default will scrap your upper palate like glass; tasty glass. Hard to find something on the menu you won’t like.

One of my favorite places for breakfast in little LA, and the other meals are also great (if you are visiting for lunch I recommend the miso salmon salad). Everyone is friendly and clearly takes pride in their work. If you are new to town, this is a great place to meet the locals. And my experience is also that the wifi is more reliable than in the past. (and to make sure this review isn’t completely fawning, I do wish they would open at 6am like before the pandemic). Also, this location is more reliable than the one in Mountain View (in my experience the MV location gets something wrong every time and the wifi doesn’t work).

Make sure to call ahead or be prepared to not hear anyone pick up the phone from here. Expect them to be out of all bread products on certain days. It happened to me today and is the whole reason I wanted to go here. It was for sandwiches and they could only offer wraps. Don’t expect to get reimbursed for a bad experience from management. The store managers name is Jeremy. Corporate offices can’t help you either spoke with Mary from customer service said they are two separate companies. Not helpful at all. Tried calling all the other locations that were open and they weren’t answering their phones.
