12-2025: Periodically, we come into town. When we do, it’s here that we come to dine. If teleportation were real, then walking into this place is the doorway to France. Phenomenal atmosphere, thoughtful staff, but what really makes it superb is the attention to the craft of authentic French cooking. When you ask for something medium rare, you’re going to get medium rare. Subtle, complimentary flavors are a taste bud treat. You’ll want to eat more slowly than normal to savor each bite. Started with Salade Bouchon with butter lettuce, goat cheese, and a creamy red wine dressing. The butter lettuce is the key. This with a glass of MERLOT, CHEVALIER, ALEXIS LUCHINI PAYS D OC. Not over-powering. The main course was an Angus beef fillet with a Dijon sauce. This came with a mild-cheesy gratin. However, it was the thoughtful layer of baby snow peas hidden under the fillet that changed the flavor when sampled. Paired with CABERNET SAUVIGNON, O BY CLAUDE VIALADE – organic wine. I was trying to stay tannin-light this evening. Fantastic. Dessert was creme brulee with vanilla bean and an unsweetened espresso. A great combination. I would have tried one of the duck items, but Thanksgiving was already ducked with duck l’orange, so didn’t want to get over ducked. A crisp high five to the staff out front and in the back and to the chef/owner for his French cooking preservation effort. Fantastic.
Oh, and the BEST part. The portions are real-sized and not “Elf food.”

Four of us went here for brunch/lunch and were quickly seated at a table outside by a server at 12:30. After that it was incredibly slow service and we had to ask multiple times for a menu. We placed our orders the next time we saw the server; 2 French onion soups, 2 omelets, and 2 beef filet sandwiches. 35 minutes to get the soups, then another 20 minutes+ to get the main course. Incredibly slow and no updates on where our orders were. Food was average for flavor but everything was greasy. Each omelet came with only 4 potato wedges. Hopefully it was an off meal because the reviews do not match the experience my group had.

Approved by my French boyfriend for its authentic French food. The onion soup was perfect for winter, the filet mignon was tender, and the Boeuf Bourguignon delicious. Relaxed, family-style bistro vibe — and they welcomed us with a mimosa.

We had a phenomenal lunch! Started with the escargot and the tomato lotus we shared the chicken fricasse, which was absolutely to die for. Would try again next time I’m
In Miami!

We got there early since they don’t take reservations, but they kind of do take reservations, but we arrived at 4 and they told us to come back at 530 because the restaurant had to close because they ran out of food….so we got kind of in the wrong foot….but since Coconut grove has so many places to see we went to Carbone Vino to have drinks before coming back….it was totally worth it! Mauricio served us very well, the food was delicious!!! I had the onion soup and loved it! The sea bass from the special was superb!!! We ordered 3 types of desserts and were all very good!!! Loved the restaurant, the service, the food! Will definitely be coming back for more!!

I enjoyed it very much. Parking was a nightmare but the food was good, service very friendly but the food took a long time. I would go back but would allow more time and find a parking lot in advance.

Overall amazing experience! George was excellent, extremely attentive, and he made me feel so special on my birthday. We wanted to sit outside and he made sure that happened! No questions asked. The food was great and very authentic. Came out very quick and we were checked on just the right amount. I would recommend this place to anyone contemplating coming here. The best part about this place is that it’s consistent and always a pleasant experience. It is evident that everyone in this restaurant works very hard and cares about their customers.

Sadly they didn’t have the beef bourguignon but we ate steak au poivre and salmon which were both hits. We ordered a salad to start off this very good French meal. Our waitress was from Mexico City and was quite delightful. Luckily, we got a table with a view of the street which made it feel even more like a Parisian bistro.

This is my favorite restaurant in Coconut Grove and perhaps my favorite French restaurant anywhere. I travel to CG every month in the winter for work and always make a stop here.
I always get the escargot. The salmon (cooked medium) over ratatouille is perfection. Breakfast is perfection. There’s nothing on the menu that’s mediocre.
Just the right portion size.

My g/f and I had lunch at this charming spot. We had the roasted tomato w/prosciutto salad and the onion tart and both were delicious! The place was busy yet our server was attentive enough and I’m looking forward to going back.
