Walked in with my family for dinner right around opening on Saturday and was promptly seated. The quality & flavor on everything we tried was great and we plan to come back soon.

To start, the clam chowder was rich and creamy and had an abundance of clam and potatoes and was well-seasoned. The french onion soup had a great depth of savory flavor with a light touch of sweetness – if you like french onion soup, this is one of the best I’ve had.

For dinner we had beef bourguignon (very flavorful but not overpowering and generous amount of tender beef, and the accompanying vegetables were perfectly cooked), filet mignon (the cut of meat was excellent and cooked perfectly by sous vide), and spaghetti carbonara (pasta and sauce were well-married). We did add the potato puree to the beef bourguignon and although the flavor was excellent we were a bit surprised that it arrived cool/room temp.

We tried the strawberry and nutella croissant waffle for dessert and found one to be just right for splitting a bite of dessert three ways – the crispy/crunchy waffle edges and sweetness of the strawberry/nutella topping were a nice contrast to finish the meal.

Austin helped took care of my family and I during our visit. He did a great job interacting with his tables including ours.

Food took time, this is not somewhere to eat right away. Each dish was carefully crafted with love by the chef. Portions are very European, definitely recommend getting a couple of items. Do not expect to share many appetizers as the portioning is not group friendly. Didn’t get photos of the steaks at the table but to not order a steak is to miss out on an experience like no other in salt lake.

This restaurant is ideal for more intimate dining experiences.

Don’t skip on: Beef Bourguignon

First time at Le Boeuf and it was a fantastic experience. Clementine took care of our table and she was amazing. We felt welcomed the moment we walked in and the whole dining experience was so pleasant. The food was fantastic and all came out fresh and tasted so good.

I loved the Beef bourguignon, Caesar salad, and the escargot. So delicious!

The restaurant was well kept and there was a great atmosphere all around.

Highly recommended for anyone in the mood for French Cuisine!

My wife and I went here for lunch today. I must say our experience was PERFECT. The service was excellent, the ambience was very quaint, the food quality was absolutely fantastic, and I could not believe the prices. We left there very satisfied and should’ve paid 2 1/2 times more than what we did. This new hidden gem in Salt Lake City is a must try. You will not be disappointed. We look forward to coming back very soon.

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience fell short.
I was told the dining limit was one hour per table, yet I still had to wait about 10 minutes at the door for my table even though I arrived exactly on time. If they’re going to enforce a strict time limit, I wish the seating could be more efficient and consistent.
The food was honestly disappointing. The prices are low, so I wasn’t expecting anything extraordinary, but most dishes tasted like pre-made food. The one dish I really couldn’t overlook was the truffle ravioli – the plating looked nothing like the photos in their own menu/advertising and came out looking pretty unappetizing.
Overall, the place is affordable, but between the wait, the rushed dining limit, and the quality of the dishes, I didn’t leave impressed. Probably won’t return.

I’ve heard mixed and read mixed reviews, but for lunch they are spot on. Simple, sunny, relaxing, and food that is unfailingly good with surprising, but astute, local sourcing for the basics. The red wine I had with the beef bourguignon was an excellent recommendation. A pleasant easy place for a relaxing meal.

Let’s just say, Le Boeuf didn’t take me to Paris. However, where else are you going to get a solid dish of escargot around town? The French onion soup was solid. The lobster ravioli was very good. The wines select by the glass was solid.
The facility and service were both excellent.
I realize when you are named The Beef, steak is going to be front and center. That didn’t happen to interest that on this trip. Another time we will have to try it.

I had an amazing dining experience at Le Boeuf!
The moment I walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant has a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that makes you feel instantly relaxed.

The steaks were absolutely outstanding — perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides and sauces paired beautifully, and every dish tasted thoughtfully prepared. I also loved the desserts; they were refined, balanced, and not overly sweet.

Overall, Le Boeuf delivered top-quality food and exceptional service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable meal. I’ll definitely come back!

The whole staff was very friendly and attentive. Every part of the food was delicious. Escargot was so flavorful. The New York strip steak was so moist and tender. The mashed potatoes were some of the creamiest I have ever had. I got Spumoni ice cream and it was vivid color and the flavor was spot on.

Matt was a phenomenal server that made sure our food was exactly as ordered and prompt. The filet mignon with red wine sauce was goated. 10/10 aura farming opportunity gents.

Ohh, carbonara (mispelled?), was like 7/10 if your 10/10 is table side at Sicilia Mia in Holliday.
