Came here for dinner on our last evening in Ching Mai. There were 5 in our group. We made a reservation though our hotel (Marriott Chiang Mai).

We ordered escargots and jumbo frogs legs as starters. For mains, amongst our group we had beef tartare, duck confit, rib eye and Bourguignon de beouf.

Service was friendly, fast and efficient. The starters arrived quickly and were quickly polished off together with the complimentary bread with lovely garlic butter. All very nice.

The mains were also delicious and the portions were large – we weren’t able to finish it all. My friend brought a bottle of wine – apart from that we had juices, water and soft drinks.

We found this to be a great little restaurant with a short walk from the main strip. Food was delicious and portions large. Our friends, who live in Chiang Mai, said that they would definitely return (it was their first time – and they generously paid).

The food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. The French Onion Soup was perfect, and the Oyster Special was fresh and wonderful.
The waiting staff were professional and smiling, providing excellent service throughout the night. The only downside was a slightly cold reception from the manager during ordering, but it didn’t overshadow the great experience.
If you’re looking for high-quality French cuisine, this is the place!

Delicious French food with great attention to detail. I tried the baguette, fish soup, and steak, and everything was excellent. The service was warm and very attentive without being overbearing. I also liked the overall atmosphere – casual and relaxed, yet the quality of the food easily stands out. On top of that, the value for money is very good, making this a place I’d be happy to return to.

I ordered the veggie lasagna and glass of rose. It was good. Atmosphere is nice and cozy. The only thing I didn’t like was the chef/owner was visiting this one table all night. I’m a WOC. I don’t know if that’s his standard practice but it made me feel some kind of way.

Excellent French cuisine. The food was delicious and the service immaculate. The French Chef was welcoming and super nice. We happened to pass by and famished with hunger, without a reservation, and he kindly provided us with a table. The beef stew is out of this world! The mushroom pasta with truffle simply divine! Would highly recommend to anyone, French or otherwise.

Update: 11 December 2025z We came back here one year later. Food is still excellent! Compliments to the chef! Service was awesome as well! Looking forward to coming back next year winter!

A very nice French restaurant in chiang mai is run by a very good French chef.
He and his wife run the resturant and their personal touch shows. Very traditional French cuisine with a lot of local produce served.
Wine selection is great and the staff were knowledgeable on every aspect of our dining experience.

The selection of cheeses was particularly surprising with a fantastic local ash goats cheese and a washed rind using local spirits was particularly amazing.

I’ll be back to try the steaks as I understand these are dry aged on site.

Tonight however, we gorged ourselves on the charcuterie, cold cuts, terrine and tartare de boeuf.

Had dinner twice here over a period of 10 days. French fare done right and hearty portions. If you want a break from having Thai food every meal or are looking for a place to gather with friends over some steak or go out on a special night, this is the place to be. Highly recommend the steak (I had the tomahawk and the ribeye on 2 separate nights) and the cassoulet.

Short walk from some of the big hotels around the neighbourhood and yet located in a quieter street which makes it even more pleasant.

Absolutely exceptional! This charming French restaurant in Chiang Mai gave us a meal to remember. From the moment we sat down, the warm, cozy ambiance and friendly service made us feel welcomed.

We started our dinner with a beautiful glass of wine — because in a French restaurant, it’s always wine o’clock! The fresh salads were vibrant and full of flavor, perfectly paired with crusty French bread and creamy pumpkin soup that was out of this world.

For mains, the presentation alone was art! The tenderlion with Foie gras was tender and rich , and the truffle mashed potatoes were unbelievably smooth. The sausages were perfectly grilled and paired with velvety mash that pulled everything together.

Everything was clearly made with care, and the flavors were authentically French with a local touch. It felt like a little escape to Paris right here in Chiang Mai. ✨

Highly recommended for anyone who loves fine food, excellent wine, and an unforgettable dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Easily the best steak I have eaten in Thailand, it was perfectly cooked and really tasty and tender. Food is of much higher quality than your average restaurant. Chef also takes time to talk to his customers and show his face outside of the kitchen.
