We arrived mid afternoon. About 10 empty tables outside. Because we had no reservations, our hostess who spoke little English and no French, told us we’d have to sit at the bar. But first, a hurdle to overcome!! One of our party was wearing sandals. No sanders allowed for men!!!! Ok for women. So he went a bought himself closed shoes. By this time I had located the main greeter who gave us a table. Gender discrimination and mediocre, expensive food.

Great food, better scene. Service gets spotty when the crowd arrives but fun to watch while you wait.

The food here is phenomenal and so is the service. The music can get quit loud so if you have sensitive hearing bring earplugs. This restaurant is extremely hard to get a table at so pre book it. In addition the atmosphere is very nice.

Fantastic food. The hosts are always happy to see you and impeccably dressed. The truffle risotto is unbelievable and the meats are cooked to perfection (Unlike Topping Rose which i was not impressed) . The Halibut is also amazing. I guess the entire menu is amazing when I think about it. Ive been at least 5 times this month and I can’t wait to come back.

5/5: appetizers- the scallop and truffle risotto blew our minds.

The steak was not cooked to our request (eg came rare when we requested medium) and was a low budget cut of meat (similar to a chuck). The fish was flavorless, and while our service was pleasant, we had to remind them our order several times. The appetizers were clearly leftover vegetables thrown together with a flavorless and untossed dressing. The setting is beautiful, but just know that you are paying for the view.

Spent an incredible evening at Le Bilboquet for dinner. The food, vibe and service were unparalleled. Our waitress, Fleurianne was super attentive and had a delightful French sense of humor.

When you want a perfect dining experience in Suffolk County, this resturant is the place to indulge that craving. Raphael was gracious, accommodating and made the evening memorable. I purchased flowers for my date and dropped them off earlier and Raphael presented them with a flair, just as you expect a Frenchman to do.

The manager Elise is of no use. The bartender Romaine took it upon himself to add to his tip. We reported it to Elise the Manager. She noticed that the tip was doctored and that she would credit our card. Next months statement we were charged the amount that we originally tipped and not credited but charged again. CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS!

In my opinion not associated with any entity with which I am affiliated: This place is the pits. Don’t bother. It’s a POS. Been sag resident for 20 years and TOShampton resident for 28 years. Mind if July 4th weekend July 3). My wife and I show up. We’re in proper Sag attire—polo shirts and appropriate shorts (eg brooks brothers). I’m in brand new flip flops of a local store. My wife is fully pedicured and in women’s open toe foot attire. We are told “there is a dress code” and we’re refused entry. As a mature individual I feel I was a victim or profiling and agism. As a resident I recommend boycotting this establishment.
