What a great experience! The West African food was delicious. I highly recommend trying the red snapper and the oxtail soup. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I’m planning to return! I did a large take out order and the food was delicious and freshly made. The restaurant was very clean. Next time I visit I’ll be eating there instead of ordering take out.

I was thoroughly impressed by their food today. It was absolutely delicious! I ordered the spinach soup with smoked turkey, plantain fufu, and the hibiscus drink. Everything was so tasty that I couldn’t stop smiling.

Hands up and down this is the most flavorful, fulfilling, home cooked food I’ve had in this area since moving here seven years ago. I really enjoyed how knowledgeable the server was and the friendliness of the entire staff. I love its family owned and operated. I will definitely come back to try more dishes. Ohhhh and the hibiscus & pineapple juice is delicious. Lastly, the chefs menu, was a special plantain sorta puff with chopped onion and spices blended into a perfect round plantain puff loaded with sweet and spicy flavor.

This was a nice, clean, and vibrant restaurant. The customer service was TOP TIER!!!! Richard, our waiter, thoroughly explained the details of EVERYTHING on the menu and the food and drinks were amazing. I will definitely be back. If you want to try Nigerian food, definitely pay them a visit.

My first time trying West African cuisine and it was amazing! I got the spicy peanut soup w/chicken, yam fufu, and jollof rice. My partner got the spicy chicken shukuya. Everything was so flavorful! The owner was very nice and talked with us. Good prices as well.

This place is fantastic!!
Our family of 7 visited here after a military graduation. We were greeted upon arrival and were able to seat ourselves. We were immediately tended to and the menu was explained to us in thorough detail. All the food on the menu was available and freshly made by a mother daughter duo in the kitchen while the son-in-law/husband worked the front. We were able to easily make changes and the food came out hot and delicious. We all ate our food and even ordered more to go for our road trip. As West Africans ourselves, it’s hard to find a restaurant that has both good food and good service. We found that here and it even exceeded our expectations. Thank you soo much to the Le Bambou Family!!! We will surely visit again the next time we are in South Carolina ❤️❤️

Food, Service, and atmosphere were all great! This was my 1st time trying African food and Le Bambou did not disappoint! Delicious! I had beef kabobs and jolof rice. The drizzle sauce they make is phenomenal! And they put it on everything they serve, except the soup. My daughter had oxtails and okra soup – she ate every bit of it. My friend had goat and yellow rice. Super satisfied. My mom & sis had the red snapper and they couldn’t stop talking about it. 10 outta 10!

Dining at this establishment was a genuinely enjoyable experience. When you walk into the restaurant, you are immediately greeted by the family who run the restaurant. They are super kind and very knowledgeable of the food and culture. The atmosphere of the place was also very welcoming, warm, and traditional – and clean! With a food safety rating of A. Now let’s talk about the food… The food was traditionally homemade as well as wholesome, hearty, and super flavorful. It was amazing! Me and my husband tried the chicken ragout, peanut soup, plantain fufu, and beignet style plantains. We loved each dish we tried and had absolutely no complaints. The price was also not too expensive. Overall, we had a lovely experience and we will definitely be coming back to eat here again!
