Good times, Late nights and Big city lights.
From the streets, little laneways and city arcades comes a new kind of asian flavour. Distinctly asian, it’s fast, loud, rebellious, upbeat and confident. Inspired from a mashup of retro 60s-80’s Japanese-
Korean-Chinese pop culture, Asian eating houses and hawker vendors, food and drink are served up express and designed to be shared.
From the moment the sun sets, the neon lights up and music, food, drink and boogie come together. It’s loud, quirky, cheeky, brash, melodic and ABSOLUTELY FUN!
Funky Pan-Asian eatery offering a raw bar, bao burgers & small plates, plus hearty homestyle mains.

We’ve been wanting to try Lazy Su for a long time and finally got around to it. It absolutely met our expectations. We had a relaxing Sunday lunch and enjoyed all the dishes, from the Nori Tacos to the Wagyu Cheese Steak Spring Rolls and Kimchi Fried Rice (all deservedly popular), as well as the seafood stir fry and wontons (the latter may be a tad sour for some palettes – but not for mine). The cocktails we chose were also fun and refreshing (the Soju Slushie and Melano Pop). Service was helpful but not invasive, and we loved the lack of an ever-more-pervasive Sunday surcharge (as well as the team’s generous attitude to paying in cash). An enjoyable experience.

First time trying out Lazy Su and had an average experience. We got the set menu and were extremely happy with the first two dishes but then the rest didn’t hold up quite the same. Atmosphere was great, good vibes and the cocktails were delicious. Would love to go back and try it out again, felt like I went on an off-night.

Excellent dinner at Lazy Su. Friendly staff, quick service, very cool vibe. The cheesesteak spring roll, and the bacon and prawn wontons we both delicious. But for me the unexpected highlight were the miso carrots – bite sized, tempura fried carrot with miso and honey. Yum!

I’m from Melbourne and Lazy Sue’s is a place I frequent when I’m in town.
Absolutely love my experience at this beautiful Asian fusion restaurant! The atmosphere is vibrant yet welcoming — stylish decor with just the right touch of modern. The service was attentive and friendly without ever feeling rushed.
Every dish I tried was bursting with fresh, bold flavours — creative takes on classic dishes that still felt authentic and comforting like the cheeseburger spring rolls! Another favourite is the roast chicken ☺️ You can tell a lot of care goes into every plate. It’s clear why this spot is so popular! A perfect place for a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back when I’m in Canberra and definitely recommend!

We had dinner at Lazy Su in Canberra and absolutely loved it. We didn’t have a booking, but the staff was super friendly and found us a table right away. We ordered several dishes: broccolini, seafood noodle stir-fry, kingfish sashimi, the Wagyu Cheesesteak Spring Roll, and a few others I can’t even remember because everything was just that good.
Next time I’m back in Canberra, this will definitely be one of my go-to places. The food was incredible and the vibe was perfect.

Thoroughly enjoyable Asian Fusian restaurant. Never disappoints with a buzzing vibe. We arrived at 6pm and the restaurant was quiet but within an hour was full. Highly recommended for the food, service and vibe. The restaurant is located in Braddon which is busy Fridays and Saturdays so allow time for parking. Book well in advance.

Love the vibe! The lady let us sit in the normal table, but we ask to move to the one facing the road and we love it.
We ordered couple of entree, small plates, large plates and both the desserts.
