I came here yesterday and was greeted by a wonderful woman! Amanda introduced herself and was very kind and lovely. I had to get the toasted ravioli because I have been in a state for a long time that doesn’t know of the gift that is T.R.

I asked for a water and she asked if I wanted lemon and I never order with lemon but to be asked was really nice so I went with it and am now in a lemon water phase.

I ordered the salmon Caesar salad and while I wondered for a brief moment what could take a salmon salad so long (just the wait but it wasn’t even a wait really!). It wasn’t until I actually ate the dang thing that I understand the wait!! It was probably top three best salmon I’ve ever had. LOVED it!!

Overall, a great experience and I will always remember my visit here.

P.S. I made this note while actually waiting and I think those who know will really appreciate this, as well. Thank yall!!!

This Little restaurant is one of the best little spots I’ve encountered in a very long time. The fried walleye was fantastic. That breading is simply perfect and the flavors are spot on. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was perfect, crispy and juicy. The grilled chicken was huge and very tasty. And the french fries were great. . This will definitely be my go to spot now.

Stopped in for Friday lunch and had a great experience. This is a fishing-themed restaurant with fish front and center on the menu—both fried and grilled options—but there are plenty of land-dweller choices too. The decor leans fully into the fishing theme and fits the vibe well.

We had the blackened tilapia and the lime-grilled salmon. The tilapia was very flavorful, and the salmon was cooked perfectly to order. Both entrées came with salads, and the cracker basket even included a cheese ball, which was a nice touch. Portions were generous—definitely plenty of food.

There was no wait at all for lunch, service was prompt, and the overall atmosphere felt very family-friendly. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

Arrived for a late lunch and I sat at the bar. I asked the waitress what their best lunch item was and she recommended the walleyed platter. It was delicious. I received a large slice of fish. The waitress said they make their own breading and cook it fresh daily and the walleye was delicious. The walleye platter comes with two sides. I chose the green beans with potatoes and onions. I was looking for fresh fruit for my other side but the only fruit they had was applesauce so I chose the fries. The green beans were fresh and cooked just rice and seasoned well. The fries were a mixture of hot fresh fries and mildly warm fries. My waitress gave me excellent service. The inside of this restaurant reminded me of a hunting cabin and an older small town diner. Food was delicious.

What a neat place. Fishing is the theme. This goes well with the fish dishes. The walleye was excellent. Tender and tasty. We arrived early before opening but the manager let us in and served us our drinks. There were no servers there yet. Most places keep the door locked before opening. Customer service with a smile. Great place!

We had our first visit to Lazy River Grill today. Our server Amber was fantastic! After learning they make their own breading for the walleye we couldn’t pass it up. The walleye sandwich is the best I’ve had in a very long time. Its ranks right up with the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend a visit here. Try the walleye with the homemade Cole slaw you won’t be disappointed! Keep up the good work and great food. We will be back for more.

Just finished eating here dont recommend.slow service with only 2 tables to serve the waitress with the blue and green colored hair was polite but absent minded. Said she would bring a side of mayo for my husband’s burger and said she wouldn’t forget and then she forgot admitted she got side tracked talking with other employees.Didnt use the mayo because husband was starving and couldn’t wait any more.he said the burger was dry and cold.the walleye wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either.the fries was the only thing that was decent.felt like we weren’t a priority. Took FOREVER to get refills on water and to get the check took minute to. She was worried about serving another table before filling waters when she said she would be right back. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK.

What a great place. Very clean and the atmosphere was perfect. This was our first time here as we are from out of state and was looking for a place to have dinner with family. What a great choice. We had ribeye, salmon, and, basa fish. Amber was our waitress and she was helpful in helping us decide what to choose from the menu. We hope to come back this way to make sure we stop in again to eat. Highly recommend this quaint place.

While in St. Louis, my sister-in-law suggested the Lazy River Grill. The food was really good, but the service was a bit slower than I’m used to in SW Missouri.
I know the “big city” way of doing things is different than the way we do things in the Ozarks. But it really did take a while to get our food and get on the road.
I’m sure we’ll be back, just not when we are in a hurry.

Made reservations and were seated upon arrival. Staff was engaging and friendly. Menu questions were answered directly and options were accommodated without issue. Food arrived in a timely manner at the appropriate temperature and the taste was good. Would dine here again in the future.
