Beautiful bistro. Excellent service. The food presentations is gorgeous. Coffee hot. The boudin and hashbrown sticks are fantastic. Unfortunately main meal served not hot. Ordered a plate with grits it was as if the plate sat for 15 mins. The biscuits are massive but dry so crumbles a part on first bite if you get it as a breakfest sandwich. Management is fantastic, offered to get us something else, decided to try a different breakfest place.

Fantastic breakfast spot in Ocean Springs. The Bang Bang Shrimp and Grits and candied bacon alone is worth the visit. Although it took a few minutes to be noticed after being seated, once we were, the server was friendly, helpful and on point. The food is a little pricey but definitely worth the visit!

Ordered the steak and eggs and the steak flavor was okay but you could barely cut it with a knife. Once you could get a bite small enough to eat it was like chewing rubber. My steak was medium rare but there was no consistency to the cook on it. Part of it was well done, then medium in some areas followed by rare in another. The hash-browns were overdone as well as the scrambled eggs. I was unable to eat my breakfast and we left. We won’t be back. I’m highly disappointed after hearing how great this place was. (Other people at our table were also not pleased with their meals) DO BETTER

The food was good good good. My friend and I wanted to make a stop here before we left town. It didn’t disappoint. I ordered the BISTREAUX BURGER oak biscuit burger bacon medium egg cheddar jack cheese I the works I candied bacon aiolo. I ordered toast instead of the biscuit. The fries were so amazing, they look like a paddle. My friend ordered CHILI BANG BANG grits I frled shrimp or oysters 1 thai chill drizzle green onlon. She enjoyed her meal. Our server was very helpful and really fun. The ambiance was laid back and a peaceful vibe. I cant wait yo come back here. I highly

After being on a cruise for a week, I wanted something normal. I got here and completely changed my mind. I ordered the port omelet crawfish cream sauce, shrimp, softshell crab. By far the best omelet I’ve ever eaten no doubt about it. Wife ordered the southern comes with a fried chicken breast and grits covered in their gravy. Electra was our Waitress and she is outstanding. Just 4 miles off interstate 10 and worth the drive for sure.

While looking for brunch spot on Sunday came across Lazy Oak Bistro. I walked in and was seated at the bar upon looking at the menu. It was short and intriguing. I couldn’t decide on one meal so I opted for three lol first I ordered the pancake, which as you can see is the size of a dinner plate. Second I ordered The Coast Chick with hash brown sticks on the side and lastly The Port Omelette. My favorite out of the three was by far the Port omelette man it had a fried soft shell crab on top. The shrimp were perfectly cooked with oozing cheese, I don’t know how many eggs were used to make this behemoth of a omelette, but it was nowhere near three eggs. I want to say upwards of six eggs to make it if you’re looking for good place to eat with HUMONGOUS portions give this spot a try , you won’t be disappointed with their fare.

This is not for the frugal. The bill was $50 for two meals and two drinks (one was a coke). Unfortunately, I do not care for grits or biscuits, which was the majority of the menu. The waitress did tell me that they could replace anything in the menu the called for a biscuit, with toast or a French roll. I like a good skillet with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, onions, and peppers. I have not found that here. I did get chicken and waffles with bacon and hash brown sticks. I was told it was a sandwich and decided to be ok with that. The bacon did come out a bit fatty and I won’t eat that wiggly stuff. Overall the chicken was very good and the waffles were OK. Now my wife loved everything she had. She order the southern grits which had sausage gravy over fried chicken and grits. The waitress asked if she wanted a biscuit with it ($2.00). She also preferred a mimosa, which came in a little flute. That was $10. I felt that to be extremely high. It is a very nice environment and everyone was very nice. I will need to try and accept grits into my life. I am sure we will be back. I just have to find something I will eat 🙂

You have to try the hash-brown fries. Honestly , they are life changing. The food was great however there was SOO MUCH FOOD. The plates were small and my friends who got biscuits struggled to eat theirs without food falling off the plates. I had The Port. The flavors were great and I loved the seafood that came with it. All the potato sides were great. The food services was typical however we weren’t given utensils and had to wait about 10min. At that point some parts of my food were cold but it was still good. The live music was wonderful!!!

Highly recommend! We had brunch here first day of our stay in Ocean Springs. Our server Haidyn was awesome! Food was so good. We ate outside on the huge front deck since we take our chihuahua everywhere. We both had the Porter Platter and shared a HUGE yummy pancake. We were a little annoyed with how hot it was and from all the flies but that comes with dining outside with our furbaby. Would love to see ceiling fans installed. Overall a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back.
