Amazing food & drinks, brilliant service and great value!! It’s all beautiful people there. They have their own beer (the passion fruit beer is incredible!) their own banana rum and the food is very fresh! We are crew on one of the cruise ships which visits St marteen, and we always come back to the Lazy Lizard when we stop!

Delicious food, warm welcome, and relaxing spot under the shady trees.
We arrived on the ferry from St Barths and had some time to kill before heading to the airport and this was the perfect spot. 1 min walk from the port we grabbed a table under the trees by the water – nice and cool and quiet.
Nice mix of things on the menu but their curried caribbean chicken + rice & beans was amazing. We also had a vegan in our group who was catered to, no problem. Would definitely return for a relaxed lunch/dinner.

Came here after seeing other great reviews and photos of the food. The fish &
Chips were phenomenal! My mom got the fish tacos and they were so tasty. Both portions of fish were huge and you can tell was very fresh! I had the jerk chicken Philly and that was great too! The service and hospitality were top notch. Everything was explained to us thoroughly and we felt very welcomed here. Visiting from Florida on our cruise and it was such a delicious spot to stop while we explored the area. We got three bar drinks as well as ordered two bottles of banana vanilla rum to take with us. So worth it!! Was such a nice lunch and right by the water with beautiful views. Can’t wait to come back!

Outstanding across the board. The restaurant sits across from a small marina, across the street are picnic tables and small tables if you want to sit by the water. We had IPAs, large order of wings (extra crispy as ordered) in Caribbean jerk and the other half with buffalo. We like spicy, so it was outstanding.
Also, we had a side of beans and rice along with sweet plantains.
It started to rain, so we headed into the main restaurant where we had a nice chat with the Nik the owner. In our conversation, he was sincerely enthusiastic about his establishment and went on about how he makes sure everything is right. It was, and we decided to stay longer. Combined with the service staff, Iliasha and Ike, we had a great time!
If you are coming off a cruise ship, this would most likely be your first stop along the water. The walk is about 15 mins from the cruise port. We spent our short afternoon here and we’re so happy we didn’t leave until it was time to go.
Great place, great people, great staff, great drinks. Stop by, you won’t regret it.

Great location with picnic tables right on the water and a full service restaurant. We had the jerk and buffalo wings which were cooked well and flavorful. We also had the fish and chips which had a tasty, crunchy batter with the best homemade tartar like sauce I’ve ever had. Friendly staff and owner and good drinks.

Amazing food and super friendly staff. Lunch was so good we had to come back for dinner the next day. Very celiac friendly, which is a bonus for those of us who have such difficulty when traveling. Try the ribs, you won’t regret it.

Be sure to stop by when you’re in Philipsburg! Food and service were phenomenal. The garlic shrimp is a must try! The owner and his wife were very friendly and came out to hang with us. Super cool guy.

We had dinner at the Lazy Lizard tonight and can’t say enough. We had drinks while we waited for the chef to arrive, which he did to a round of applause from customers and staff. It was well worth the wait. All four of us had a different meal and everything was really good, with a special shout out to the Rasta Pasta, which was amazing. Our server was great and the bartender joined us for a shot of their own banana rum to top off the evening. We will return!

I visited alone Lazy Lizard yesterday. The waiter very kind and seated me by the small beach under coconut tree. The environment and food are good. I had red snapper 35usd and lemonade 4usd. Overall recommended. Not a place for good wifi.

Right along the beach. Great food and service. I had the snapper. It was delicious. I’m picky about my coleslaw. I warned the bartender, Ike that I may not like it. He reassured me it was good and fresh so I went for it. No regrets at all! Thanks Ike! The owner Nick was welcoming provided great service. I bought a bottle of their homemade rum. Sweeter than I would prefer my liquor but super smooth nonetheless. I definitely will return when in St Marteen.
